Favorite Place on the Coast!

This was the 4th time I've stayed at the Pilot House and each and every time our stay there has been incredible! From booking the reservation, to gaining access to the unit it was all simple with no issues and everyone at the company is very friendly and helpful! This place is amazing, great views, top of the line amenities and its right in the heart of downtown! If you want a 5* place to stay with your friends and family, this is the place for you!

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

Owners response: Return guests are one of the highest compliments a place can have. I have gotten to know guests from their engagements, to their weddings, and family reunions. Some even preferring to come during bad weather so they can be housebound in front of a fire, with a cup of coffee, watching the ships pass by -- happy to never leave the Pilot House.

This was amazing! The view watching the ships come in was an added bonus for our mini vacation.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, sight seeing

Owners response: The Pilot House offers a front row seat to ships traveling up and down the Columbia River and is the point where the Columbia River Pilots and Columbia River Bar Pilots are taken to and off ships by the launch boat. Also, entertaining to watch the other marine activity with fishing and sail boats and the a variety of wildlife (fish, seals, and water fowl).
