Our spacious and private two-bedroom condo is enviably located in the
heart of Canmore, easy walking distance to groceries, shops,
restaurants, and pubs. The very roomy 1300 sq. foot (120 sq. metres)
condo is a corner suite, which translates into more windows and
greater views and sunshine. Despite the central location, the unit
backs onto a mountain creek and a nature reserve, providing a
very private, tranquil, yet convenient retreat—the perfect base for your
Rocky Mountain adventure!
The apartment comfortably sleeps 6 people, with a king size bed in the
master bedroom, a queen bed in the second bedroom, and a queen-sized
wall bed in the living room area. Quality linens are provided. The en
suite bathroom to the master bedroom is 3 piece (basin, toilet,
shower), while the main bathroom contains 4 pieces (basin, toilet,
shower, tub). Towels are also provided. The condo has in-floor radiant
heat, which makes for a very comfortable environment.
When you’re ready to relax after a day of exploring, our comfortable
apartment comes equipped with a gas fireplace, high-speed internet,
27" flat-screen TV (cable) with DVD & VCR players in living room and a
20" TV with a DVD player in the master bedroom, CD-cassette stereo
player, matching dinnerware & cutlery, fully equipped kitchen
(stove/oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, etc.), in-suite full-size
washer and dryer, and a balcony complete with BBQ. The south-facing
balcony and windows overlook a mountain creek and allow for sun-filled
views of the spectacular Three Sisters and Rundle Range.
For your convenience, there is secure underground parking with a
locked storage area for all your essential toys (e.g. golf clubs,
skis, boards). Entry into the building and courtyard is also secured
with access codes. The building is wheelchair accessible with a ramp

During winter, have a blast skiing the Canadian Rockies at several
nearby downhill areas including world famous Lake Louise. Or you can
cross-country ski on over 80 miles of groomed trails at the Canmore
Nordic Centre, host of the Nordic events for the 1988 Olympics. If
conditions are right, skate on idyllic frozen mountain ponds and
absorb the majesty of the snow-covered mountains and the crisp fresh
air. Additional winter activities include ice fishing, snowmobiling,
and snowshoeing.
In summer, you can golf at a selection of gorgeous world class
courses, hike on trails too numerous to count while surrounding
yourself with scenery too beautiful for words, or paddle the Bow and
Kananaskis Rivers to get a different view of the Bow Valley. While
you're at it, pull out the tackle and fish for wily trout. Have the
camera ready: You never know which member of the wildlife community
may present itself for your lens. Mountain biking on the Nordic Centre
trails, which have been the site for several World Cup Mountain
Bicycle races, is also popular. Other outdoor activities include rock
climbing, rafting, and horseback riding.
Besides being surrounded by spectacular nature, Canmore also has a
thriving arts community. An abundance of artists live in the area and
many have their work on exhibit in the numerous Canmore art galleries.
At least three local theatre troupes are active in the Bow Valley, and
coupled with the nearby Banff Centre for the Performing Arts, the
chances of live theatre or music--ranging from classical to
avant-garde--happening during your visit are excellent. Several of the
pubs and bars in the area have live rock or pop acts on a regular
basis. Oh... did we mention the shopping and restaurants? Whatever
your mood, be it quiet or adventurous, giddy or serene, you'll find
something to satisfy your soul in Canmore.
