water from the large, open living area, screened in porch, and deck  
will help your stress melt away.  The sandy beach at the water's edge  
is perfect for swimming and allows you to beach your boat and come  
off the lake for a lunch break.  The home is conveniently located one  
mile from a nice boat ramp, picturesque camping facility, and a Day- 
Use Park that features volleyball courts, cook-out facilities, and  
swimming areas.  The City of Lufkin is about 20 miles from this  
perfect vacation home, offering you plenty of nice restaurants and  
shopping.  You'll also get the best fishing tips on the lake from  
Owner/Professional Tournament Angler Jeff Buchanan, who aims to make  
sure all of our guests are catching fish.

Activities and Attractions

  Lake Sam Rayburn offers some of the best bass fishing in the  
country and hosts world class tournaments year round. Big Sam is the  
largest lake within the state of Texas.  Rayburn also offers great  
fishing for crappie (many crappie caught are 12"-16"), white bass,  
hybrids, bream, and catfish. We have package deals on lodging and  
guided fishing trips with the best guides on the lake. The lake is  
also great for swimming and water sports.   
  You can also experience some of the most fabulous hiking in the  
country in the Angelina National Forest and Boykin Springs, where you  
will find incredible hiking trails paved with wooden bridges  
alongside beautiful, clear, sandy-bottomed creeks and a large  
swimming hole made by a natural spring.  There are also a variety of  
great restaurants, antique shops, and historical homes to visit  
within 30 miles.  We look forward to having you come stay with us and

*Weekends (Friday 4pm-Sunday10am) 3 days-2 nights 
*Weekly (Sunday 4pm-Sunday 10am)  8 days-7 nights 
 
*Two night minimum on weekends and during the week. 
*Three night minimum on Holiday weekends. 
 
*50% of rental must be paid 2 weeks before arrival and is non- 
refundable. 
 
*Check, cash, or money orders accepted 
 
*$50 cleaning fee is required with each rental 
 
*Only small house pets allowed w/$25 pet surcharge(non-refundable) 
 
*Renters must be 25 years of age or older.  
 
*No smoking
