Spend your summer vacation between Ocean View Drive and the shoreline
of Lecount Hollow beach !
Here you're a short 175 yard walk to the wide open ocean beach.
Looking out eastwards over the Atlantic, nature has its way of
letting you know that you're at the grand ocean. It's a notable
distinction compared to a pond, bay, or marsh setting. Ramble down a
tucked away path to Lecount Hollow beach by Maguire's Landing and
stroll along a quintessential Cape Cod scenic beach that runs for
miles. Catch an incredible sunrise coming up over the easterly ocean
horizon. At the end of the day, you can sit on the outdoor deck and
enjoy the water view.
The home is literally inside the boundaries of the Cape Cod National
Seashore, one of our great National Parks. The land's natural beauty
will remain a gem since it is protected from further development
after earning Park status in 1961 by presidential decree.
The beauty can also be enjoyed by biking or walking along The Cape
Cod Rail Trail. The trailhead entrance is about 3/4 mile down the road
from the cottage. Formerly a railroad route, this path runs through
the Cape for 22 miles and offers excellent biking and walking.
We've renovated the house with a fresh coat of new color paint for
the outside, added new furniture, new outdoor deck, and we've
restored the genuine wood plank floors inside to complement the airy
wooden beam open ceiling. We're very mindful of having our cottage clean.
The home is on Nellie Road, on a relatively secluded one block
stretch between breathtaking Ocean View Drive and the shoreline, along
with only a handful of neighboring homes. Directly across the street,
as well as the land to the west are undeveloped woodland areas. In
addition to this 2 bedroom home, the 3 bedroom house next door is
available for vacation rentals (inquire for availability and pricing)
and might be available to be booked together for those planning a
larger group.

Local activities include beach strolls, swimming, bicycling,
kayaking, whale watching, bird watching, art galleries and more.

Weekly rentals are Saturday 3pm to following Saturday 10am.  Shorter stays of 3 days minimum may be available during low and shoulder season periods - please inquire.
