and a private office will comfortably accommodate a family of six.  
It's also perfect for three couples traveling together or as a 
romantic getaway for two.

Windy Gap is just 16 miles from Clarkesville, known for antique 
shopping, strolls along the town square and its many parks. Also 
nearby - world class trout fishing, the Appalachian Trail, lakes and 
arts & crafts. Cultural highlights include the Sautee Nacoochee 
Center, featuring the renound "Evening Star Music Series" and the 
new Folk Pottery Museum of Northeast Georgia.

offers 68 miles of shoreline, perfect for boating and skiing. Windy 
Gap is located up a winding paved road, off of scenic Highway 197 
North, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

1 king size, incredibly comfortable bed in the first floor master 
suite is complimented by a Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, double 
sinks, private toilet and walk in closet.

2 queen beds, one in each of the upstairs bedrooms, have lavish 
bedding and share a full bath; great as a second master.

1 queen size sofa sleeper is just off the downstairs master bedroom, 
it's perfect for a night of fresh air, framed with a vaulted ceiling 
and huge screened windows.

Vacation Rental Amenities

A charming house on 2 wooded acres, touching the National Forest in 
Habersham County. The living room is a favorite place to entertain 
guests and sit by the fireplace. Fine furniture and local artwork 
compliment the architecture. The dining room seats ten and promises 
picture window views. Cooks will delight in the spacious gourmet 
kitchen with Silestone counters and gas stove.  Flat screen AQUOS 
TVs, DVD, satellite network, DSL internet access, wonderful bed 
linens, jetted tub, central air condition and heat, washer, dryer, 
telephone and covered parking are all included. The master bedroom 
and a sleeping porch are on the first floor, while the second floor 
boasts and ideal floor-plan with two bedrooms, a den and a full 
bath.  After a muddy day of hiking or fishing, a third shower and 
utility sink in the basement are great for clean-up.  The wrap 
around deck offers conversation areas and an outdoor dining venue. 
Perfect for garden weddings, birthdays and holiday celebrations!

Concierge service is available for guests who want groceries in the 
fridge, the wine chilled or their favorite newspaper or movie

Check-in begins after 2:00 pm and guests are asked to be ready by 11:30 
am on the day of departure. Please, as a courtesy, no smoking except 
outside. We also request a 4 night minimum but hope you will stay 
much longer!  Cash, Certified Check, VISA & MC are accepted. Pre-
payment is required to confirm your reservation plus a refundable 
security deposit of $400.

You must be at least 21 years of age.  We will only rent 
to “legally, responsible” adults.  The person making the reservation 
must be one of the guests who will remain with the rental party 
throughout the entire visit.
