Canal Front Tropical Hideaway in Sanibel Island

Ours is an extremely private and serene luxury home located on a
deep water canal in Sanibel's East End. It is surrounded by lush
vegetation including mangroves, fruit trees, palms, and orchids.
There is a boat dock running the length of the property equipped
with a boat lift, lighting, electricity, and water.

The house itself was built in 1988 and is graced with beautiful pine
floors throughout most of the main level, an oak staircase leading
to a very private master suite, an elevator servicing all three
floors and a pool area perfect for entertaining. The warm wood
tones throughout the house give it a comforting and inviting feel.

The master suite includes a king sized bed, a sitting area, an
office with a sliding pocket door, a deck with lounge chairs, and a
large bathroom with a walk-in closet, glassed shower, and jacuzzi
tub.

The main level includes a large family room with vaulted ceilings, a
fireplace, and 3 sets of french doors leading to the lanai, kitchen
and dining area, laundry room, half bath, full bath, and 2 guest
rooms. The first guest room has a queen sized bed and the second
guest room has 2 twin beds. These 2 guest rooms share the full bath
with glassed tub/shower combination. There is also a queen sleeper
sofa in the family room.

The balcony style lanai is furnished with cozy rattan furniture and
ceiling fans. There is a gas grill and a glass top table making it
the perfect setting for an outdoor meal. This balcony overlooks the
pool. The caged pool area contains an outdoor shower, dining
furniture, lounge chairs, and a built in wooden bar with a sink, 5
bar stools, and a television. The extra refrigerator in the garage
is just a few steps away.

Large boat dock with a boat lift, elevator, air conditioning,
ceiling fans in each room, fireplace, 5 cable TV, 2 DVD, VHS,
Nintendo Gamecube, surround sound system with zones in the family
room, kitchen area, lanai, and pool area, high-speed wireless
internet, photo quality printer, cordless telephones with
answering machine, washer, dryer, hair dryers in each bathroom,
garage, extra refrigerator in the garage near the poolside bar,
private heated swimming pool, all linens, towels, beach towels, pool
and beach toys, 4 beach chairs, cooler, 2 bikes, gas grill and
utensils.

Fully equipped kitchen that includes: convection microwave,
dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, smooth cooktop range with
oven, compactor, coffee maker, coffee grinder, iced tea maker,
toaster oven, blender, pots, pans, utensils, dishes, and glassware.

Our very small private beach is just a leisurely 10 minute stroll
away (half mile). Access to the larger Lighthouse Beach is about
3/4 mile walk or easily accessible by bicycle. The Sanibel Marina,
Grandma Dots Restaurant, Lighthouse Cafe, East End Deli, and
Pinnochio's Ice Cream are all within walking distance of our home.

There are 22 miles of trails throughout Sanibel Island providing
lots of opportunity for biking and hiking. Sanibel is also a
wonderful place for shelling, boating, and a variety of other water
sports.

Locally we have the "Ding" Darling Wildlife Refuge, the Shell
Museum, local theatre, boat tours from local marinas to neighboring
islands, quaint shopping and fabulous restaurants.

Deposit of 10% required to confirm a reservation. Deposit will be
applied to final payment.

Pets may be allowed with a non-refundable pet fee of $10 per day
