Vacation Rental Description

We are on a large, deep, waterway that goes right out to the St 
Johns River.  We have no back neighbors, just water!  A stunning 
view of the water is enjoyed from the large screened patio with a 
BBQ & picnic table; a large dock & deck area with a fire pit. There 
is a community boat ramp just down the street to put your boat in 
the water, very convenient.  Our dock can accomodate a 30 ft boat.  
Visiting gators, & turtles, have their spot across the way & big 
birds fly about.  Nature Abounds!

Vacation Rental Amenities

Our river house has 2 large bedrooms, split floorplan, with their 
own bath, (2 baths) with large walk-in closets, they both have queen 
size beds.  A futon in the living room sleeps one adult comfortably 
or 2 children, we can accomodate a total of 5 adults comfortably or 
4 adults & 2 children.  Very comfortable & spacious, decorated 
with a nautical & nature theme.  Washer & dryer is in the home for 
your convenience, 3 TV's with cable, VCR, & local telephone 
service.  We now have HIGH SPEED INTERNET ACCESS.  Fully equipped 
kitchen with dishwasher & microwave, just like home (but you could 
always go to a resturant)!  We also have a gas barbeque grill on back deck.

Activities and Attractions

Explore the St Johns River, rent a pontoon boat or bring your own 
boat and dock it here!

Enjoy fishing, boating and visiting resturants by boat.  Lake 
George, Silver Glen Springs and Blue Creek (gators galore) are all 
close by and make for an easy cruising and enjoyable day on the 
water.

Local Springs:  Alexander Springs & Salt Springs

Silver Springs, (West) on the way to Ocala.

Blue Springs Park; see the manatees in crystal clear water; has a 
swimming & picinic area, about 30 to 45 minutes.

Mount Dora (SW), a quaint town, great for antiquing & gourmet 
resturants.
Orlando, Walt Disney World, Seaworld, & Universal Studios about 1 
hour.

Ormond Beach(East)is about 40 minutes, Highway 40 takes you right to 
the Atlantic Ocean and beautiful beaches.

Daytona Beach (East)has the NASCAR races, Bike Week & Biketoberfest 
and the Turkey Run, all the old cars come into town.
