Vacation Rental Description
Almost everything in Tamarindo--including the beach--is close to Casa
del Sol. The condo itself is carefully maintained and frequently
updated. Casa del Sol is owner occupied part of the year, so attention
to detail is the norm. The kitchen is fully equipped and faultlessly
appointed.
In other words… Casa del Sol is just about flawless!
How close is Casa del Sol to Tamarindo's excitement? The beach is just
6 minutes away. Within just 1 minute you can reach a large grocery
store, a laundry, a large shopping plaza, a surf shop, and an ATV
rental shop. Twenty restaurants are within a ten-minute walk.
Casa del Sol is gated and guarded, and has easy parking. The pool is
cool-blue and very inviting. The a/c is cool, cool, cool! The bath is
large, and includes a nicely oversized shower. Wireless Internet,
cable tv, and maid service are included.
Vacation Rental Amenities
We actually live in Casa del Sol part of the year, so everything is
of the the highest quality and is scrupulously maintained and
regularly updated. This property has frequent, hands-on owner
involvement, unlike so many rental properties that are sorely neglected.
The bedroom is roomy with extensive storage for both hanging and
folded clothes and luggage. The bath is roomy, with an especially
nice, large shower. Hot water is "on-demand" and limitless. Kitchen
has been recently remodeled, and includes a full complement of
matching serving war, cookware, silverware, cutlery, and cooking ware.
The air conditioning is (if you want it) Minnesota-cold, and the
bedroom ceiling fan will keep you especially comfortable at night.
Casa del Sol is gated, walled, and guarded. The landscaping is
tropical and beautiful. Although located close to everything, Casa del
Sol is a block off the main street, so it's quiet and peaceful, with
views of the mountains to the east.
Casa del Sol is genuinely "smack in the middle of everything." The
best grocery store in Tamarindo is 100 feet from the condo. A new,
rooftop, Italian restaurant with a beautiful sunset view is in the
same building (as is a medical and dental center).
The largest shopping plaza in Tamarindo is less than 100 yards from
the condo. It has two banks (with ATMs), an Internet cafe, the town
post office, and about twenty retail shops. A laundromat is 50 yards away.
Within a five minute walk: the beach, close to a dozen restaurants, an
ATV rental place, two surf shops, a book store, an art gallery, a
video rental store, a taxi stand... etc. etc. etc.
Casa del Sol is strictly non-smoking and allows no pets. The air is
cool and dry--no musty, mildew smell. The furniture is nearly new and
is in excellent condition. The floors are tiled, so there are no
carpets to collect dirt or show soil. The maid comes in twice weekly
and dusts, washes the windows, sweeps the floors, and cleans the baths
and the kitchen.

Vacation Rental Rates
High season: December 1st through May 31st. $450 for two guests.
Low season: June 1st through November 30th. $275/week for two guests.
Additional charge for guests 3-4.
Christmas and Easter weeks: $675.
Minimum stay is two nights.
Rates include all fees and taxes.
