vacation rental description

Our no smoking, no pets condominium has a queen size bed in the main
floor bedroom, next to the full bathroom. The loft bedroom above
the living room and dining area has two twin beds. there is a queen
size air mattress to enable the unit to sleep six. The kitchen is
fully equipped with microwave, dishwasher, cookware, dishes and
utensils.

We supply all linens, towels, soaps and kitchen items needed. Our
condominium has a television, vcr, fireplace, telephone, washer,
dryer, full furnishings, outside storage closet and deck. Our
guests are welcome to use the shared pool, sauna, hot tub and gas
grill.

Durango is a year around vacation destination. During the summer,
people enjoy all of the outdoor activities associated with this
spectacular venue amidst the 14000ft. peaks that is southwestern
Colorado. One very popular attraction is the Durango to Silverton
narrow guage scenic railroad. Everyone should plan to spend one day
at the Anasazi Indian ruins in and around Mesa Verde National Park.

The winter offers the full range of snow sports at Durango Mountain,
and world class skiing at Telluride.

The historic town of Durango has wonderful shopping for vacationers
and many fine restaurants.

The stay at the condo was great. Nice views, easy access to downtown Durango and a condo that was clean and supplied with everything one needs.

Will stay again.

Great Durango Condo Rental

Family of 4, 2 adults, 2 teenage boys, 3 night stay.

Top floor condo with 1 Q bed in bedroom and 2 twin beds in loft, 1 bathroom. The condo complex is in a quiet location. The only downside is having to lug luggage up 2 flights of exterior stairs. This is offset by the great mountain view out the front windows. You will need a vehicle as the property is located on a plateau above Durango. It is about a 5 minute drive from downtown. Plenty of room for 4 people. Queen bed was very comfortable with a foam topper on the mattress. We didn't do any cooking but there were adequete plates, glasses, cups, bowls, and silverware for eating meals we brought or bought to eat. The washer/dryer is a smaller stackable combination that was adequete for our use. Don't plan on washing and drying hugh loads in it, but it is adequete for moderate size loads. All washing (clothes and dish) detergents are provided as are all bath soaps and shampoos as well as towels and wash cloths and the kitchen is stocked with paper towels. The property is well maintained and clean and the owner, Bob, was a pleasure to work with. Pool, hot tub, and gas grills are available at the condo clubhouse. Pool was nice and is covered at night to keep the heat in the water. Flat screen TV with Direct TV is available. WIFI is available but we didn't use it so I can't report on its reliability. Overall a great place to stay - comfortable and quiet.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, sight seeing, romantic getaway
