Vacation Rental Description

Our newly remodeled luxury North Lake Tahoe mountain retreat with 
heavy interior beams and all knotty pine interior features 5 
bedrooms, a den + loft, 3 full bathrooms (one with heated floor), 
and 2 full kitchens (one on top main floor and one on lower floor). 

There is a large, cozy, wood stove in the great room with forest 
and sunset views, flat screen TV/DVD/XM radio, and computer as well as 
a large assortment of games and comfy downfilled sofas for lounging 
around and visiting. 

A new 7-8 person hot tub sits on the rear deck with patio heaters and forest views.
A gas bbq grill on front deck with picnic tables perfect for a game of cards & patio heaters 
to keep you cozy after watching the beautiful sunset. 
There is a GREAT game room downstairs w/pool table, kegerator, electronic dartboard, & TV/DVD. 
A full size washer and dryer is conveniently located on the main bedroom floor.

Vacation Rental Amenities

This home comes fully stocked with everything you will need (except 
food, beverages & clothes!) including: pots, pans, utensils, dishes, 
all quality linens, quality down comforters and quilts on all 
the beds. You will feel as though you are in your own home!

As there are 3 floors (two flights of stairs plus ladder to the loft)
those with small toddlers will need to take precautions (two baby gates have been provided).

up after a full day of skiing, boating, biking or hiking 
by the fire on chilly mountain nights with views of the forest and 
vivid sunsets...

Activities and Attractions

Our retreat is located 15-20 minutes from major ski resorts 
(Northstar, Alpine, Squaw Valley and Homewood for cross country, 
snowmobiling, ice skating and sledding), and several golf courses.  
During the summer you can also go horseback riding, waterskiing, 
wakeboarding, fishing, rock climbing, bicycling, snorkeling and of 
all things.... YOU CAN REST.   Wow! 

A short 2 block walk takes you to the sunny beach at Carnelian 
Beach, hiking trails, kayaking, miniature golf, as well as to local 
restaurants (World famous GarWoods Grill, CB's Pizza, and the 
Old Post Office Coffee Shop - yum!). 
A five minute drive Northeast to Kings Beach and you'll find Safeway 
(Starbucks), restaurants, sandy beaches, volleyball courts, casinos, and shopping. 
Tahoe City is less than 10 minutes the other direction where you'll 
find more restaurants, shopping, and the Truckee River for rafting 
and bicycling along in the summer.  Restaurants along the entire 
area offer warm spots for rest and libation in the winter, with 
roaring fires and friendly faces after a day spent in the brisk 
mountain air.

Note:  As there are snow discs stored at the cabin for winter 
activities in your own neighborhood...its good to know that the 
greatest disc run is right out in your own 'front yard' and on down 
the 2 blocks to the lake! (of course you have to walk back UP to 
start your run again ! )  :)

Remember to book NOW for those ski weekends or longer ski leases...

Vacation Rental Rates

Spring / Fall (Apr-May / Oct-Nov)                             $ 250* - $450 per night  (2 night minimum)

Summer        (June 1 - Sept 30 )                             $ 250* - $450 per night  (3 night minimum)

Winter        (Dec 1 / Apr 1)                                 $ 300* - $500 per night  (3 night minimum)

MAJOR HOLIDAYS (including calendar observed 3 day weekends)
T.Giving, Christmas, New Year, Presidents 
Wknd, Easter, Mem Day, 4th of July,  Labor Day,               $ 375* - $700 per night  (3-5 NIGHT MINIMUM)

Cleaning Fee                                                  $ 2-300 (depending on number of guests)
Occupancy Tax (Placer County)                                   10% of total nights rented
Security Deposit (REFUNDABLE)                                 $ 500

*Prices based on DOUBLE OCCUPANCY.  Pricing will ULTIMATELY depend on the TOTAL NUMBER OF GUESTS in 
your group/family.

Deposit to be refunded upon clean inspection of home. 
May take up to 30 days for refund to be processed.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  The reservation deposit is refundable, less a $100.00 cancellation fee, if cancelled 30-
days prior to scheduled arrival. No refunds are given if cancellation is received less than 30-days prior to arrival 
date, unless Owner can re-rent the home for the dates confirmed to Tenant. If the home is re-rented Tenants 
deposit less $100.00 cancellation fee will be returned to Tenant.
