Vacation Rental Description

"Newport of the Midwest" is how Lake Geneva is described.  With 26  
miles of shoreline, sailing, power boating, wonderful dining, and a  
relaxing atmosphere, there is no question that Lake Geneva is the  
place to be in the summer. 
 
Brookwood is located along the south shore of the Lake in the  
Village of Fontana, one of the three towns that surround the Lake.   
We are located next to the Lake Geneva Yacht Club and we have two  
piers, one for swimming and one for fishing.  The swimming pier has  
a diving board at the end and an anchored raft to swim out to.  At  
the shallow end of the pier there is a water slide for the smaller  
children as well as a large sand box. 
 
There is plenty to do right in Brookwood or you can wander around  
the Lake and explore the many activities and attractions of Lake  
Geneva.

Vacation Rental Amenities

This coach home has two furnished units.  The First Floor unit has  
Three Bedrooms and the Second Floor Unit has Two Bedrooms.  Each are  
furnished and carpeted,and includes living room,  
kitchen with large eating area, and one bathroom.   
 
Each kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, refrigferator, and  
microwave oven.  The three bedroom unit has a full size bed in the  
master bedroom, twin beds in the second bedroom, and bunk  beds in  
the third bedroom.  The two bedroom has a full size bed in the  
master bedroom, and a day bed in the second bedroom.  Pillows and  
blankets are provided.  You would need to bring sheets and pillow  
cases.  You will also need to bring towels for the bathroom. 
 
Each Unit has a color television with built-in DVD player as  
well as a coffee maker.  You will need to bring a barbeque grill if  
you want to cook outside.  Parking spaces are included for two cars.

Activities and Attractions

Take a ride on one of the four tour boats that leave the Riveria  
Docks in Lake Geneva every hour.  These tours will give you the rich  
history of the Lake going back to the early 1900's when Wrigley,  
Maytag, Armour, and many other giants of Chicago commerce brought  
their families to the Lake to spend their summers.  The grand old  
homes and new homes are breathtaking against the shoreline. 
 
There are so many interesting restaurants and shops that you will  
have plenty to do even if the weather is not condusive to playing on  
the Lake.  Downtown Lake Geneva is bursting with activity day and  
night. 
 
Many public golf courses surround the Lake from the community  
courses like County Club in Fontana to The Grand Geneva and Geneva  
National which are nationally ranked. 
 
No matter what your sport or hobby, Lake Geneva has something for  
everyone even if you want to get away and do nothing at all!!!
