Vacation Rental Description

This 2 bedroom plus den, 2 bath condo is located in Prestigious  
Vanderbilt Lakes.  Vanderbilt Lakes is located west of Rt. 41 on  
Vanderbilt Drive (approximately 1 mile to the beach), near the  
intersection of Bonita Beach Road and Vanderbilt Drive.  This  
location is great!  Vanderbilt Lakes is a gated community and  
comprised of 4 small condo associations (each with 50 - 100 units)  
and approximately 200 private homes. 
 
Our condo is located in the Bermuda Gardens subdivision (80 units),  
which includes a community heated pool and jacuzzi (shown in the  
picture above left), community gazebo (adjacent to the pool in the  
above picture) and charcoal grills next to the gazebo.  Vanderbilt  
Lakes is a picturesque community and great for taking walks through  
the neighborhoods.  The Bermuda Gardens social committee organizes  
Friday evening "Meet Your Neighbor" get togethers and monthly  
catered dinner parties in season.  A brief summary of the community

Vacation Rental Amenities

Our condo has 2 bedrooms, a den, 2 full baths, and lanai which has a  
garden view and overlooks a small grove of banyan trees with plenty  
of green space (a very peaceful, quiet location).  Not only are we  
close to the beach, but we have a great location in the  
development!  We purchased this unit in July, 2005 and have  
updated the unit by having it professionally painted, adding new  
furniture, replacing all bedding and linens, and having tile floors  
installed throughout the entire condo, including the lanai.  Our  
condo is very clean and well maintained. 
 
This corner unit is on the first floor, so there are no steps.  As  
you look from the dining room to the lanai (shown in the picture on  
the bottom right), the condo is open and very bright.  Our condo  
features a master bedroom suite with attached bath (shown in the  
picture above right) and access to the lanai.  The master bedroom  
also has a large walk-in closet.  The guest bedroom (queen bed) and  
den (sleeper sofa) share the 2nd full bath.  For privacy, the den  
easily converts from a family room to a bedroom with a sleeper sofa 
and wooden louvered privacy screen.  The kitchen (shown in the  
picture on the lower left) has a breakfast bar and dinette, and  
is adjacent to the separate dining room.  The total size of our unit  
is approximately 1,400 square feet. 
 
Our condo is fully furnished with a full compliment of dinnerware,  
flatware, glassware, cooking utensils, pots/pans, and small  
appliances.  It also contains a full size washer and dryer,  
refrigerator, electric self-cleaning oven and microwave.  We  
recently purchased flat screen televisions that have cable service  
in the 2 bedrooms and living room.  Additionally, we have installed  
DVD players in the living room and den.  This unit has central air  
conditioning, and all utilities, local phone service and cable TV  
are included in the rental fee.  Some extras include a 5-disc  
bookshelf stereo system, beach chairs and beach towels. 
 
Pets and smoking are not permitted.

Activities and Attractions

The location of this unit is convenient to downtown naples (15  
minutes), to Sanibel (25 minutes), to the airport (25 minutes) and  
to the beaches (3 minutes or less).  In season, the heavy traffic on  
Rt. 41 can be avoided by using Vanderbilt Drive (Vanderbilt Lakes is  
located on Vanderbilt Drive), which serves as a great North/South  
access road and is close to the beaches. 
 
Various activities include golf nearby, fishing charters, and  
numerous state parks and beaches.  Our unit is close to Bonita  
Beach, Barefoot Beach, Delnor-Wiggins State Park (Beach), Vanderbilt  
Beach, and is less than 15 minutes from Lovers Key Beach (featured  
on the Travel Channel).
