Vacation Rental Description

One look tells you why this is called Treasure Island!  This is our  
second home and we have outfitted it for our (and your) vacation  
enjoyment. 
 
This ground floor waterfront unit was completely renovated and  
furnished in 2005 and meticulously maintained!  All fixtures, 
appliances, cabinets and counters are like new! The unit faces Boca 
Ciega Bay and is one block from the widest sandy beach on Florida's 
gulf coast.  A city park is across the street.  Many restaurants and 
shops are within a two block walk.  All this is just 40 minutes from 
Tampa International Airport.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Boat and fishing dock right outside the patio french doors.  (Boat  
and jet ski rentals nearby) Gulf beach one short block away. 
 
Tastefully furnished for comfort.  Brand new kitchen with granite  
counters, smooth top range, microwave, diswasher, full size  
refrigerator with icemaker.  Fully equipped with all small  
appliances, dishes, cooking utensils -- everything you need to "make  
yourself at home".  Washer and dryer in pantry off kitchen. 
 
Living room with queen sleeper sofa and matching love seat.  Flat  
screen TV with cable, DVD/VCR, Stereo sound system with CD changer.   
French doors lead to your private waterfront patio with gas grill,   
table and chairs. 
 
Master bedroom with attached brand new full bathroom and beautiful  
water view.  Queen bed, flat screen TV with built in DVD player and  
cable.   
 
Second bedroom equipped with twin beds and large mirrored closet  
doors. 
 
All linens and towels, including an ample supply of beach towels,  
provided for your comfort.

Activities and Attractions

If you can dream it, you can do it!  Apart from the obvious  
swimming, fishing, sunset walks on the beach and just relaxing,  
there are boat rentals, dolphin watch excursions 1 mile away at  
John's Pass.  
 
Public tennis courts and par 3 golf are less than a mile away.   
Championship golf courses are available for play throughout  
the area. Bicycle rentals nearby.  If you're the adventurous type,  
you can try parasailing (or not). 
 
More than a dozen restaurants ranging from fine dining to take-out  
pizza, to laid back beach bars serving up local seafood, burgers,  
live acoustic music and panoramic sunset views are within 2 short  
blocks.  Lots of places to shop for beachwear and souvenirs are  
everywhere. 
 
St. Petersburg and Tampa, both a short drive away, have noteworthy  
museums, theater and professional sports as well as many additional  
dining and shopping opportunities.  If theme parks are your thing,  
Busch Gardens is 45 minutes away, Disney World and Universal Studios  
about 2 hours.  You won't be bored here unless you want to be.

Now taking reservations for April through December 2008  and for 2009. Email or call 
for rates for your desired dates. Book early!  
 
We have many repeat bookings that get priority.  Check calendar for  
availability.
