Vacation Rental Description
Please come and enjoy our beautiful Island Villa - located on a
corner lot which enables the Villa to be light and airy. Located
just steps to the beach - it is very convienent for swimming or
sunbathing.
Upon entering you will see high vaulted ceilings, Mexican paver
floors, a beautifuly furnished home with casual, but elegant decor.
The living room has a large fireplace with T.V above which makes for
a very inviting area to relax or entertain. You may also open the
double French doors to the used brick patio with a propane BBQ and
dining table to enjoy a indoor outdoor feeling. Adjacent to the
living room is a nice size powder bathroom. Also adjoining the
living room is a sit down wet bar, dining room and a fully equiped
modern kitchen. Upstairs you will find the master suite with large
bay windows overlooking the tops of tall palm trees. All windows
open to let in the cool sea breezes. There is a king size bed, also
two large mirrored closets for lots of clothing. In the bathroom
you will find double sinks with large mirrors and great lighting.
There is a shower/jacuzzi tub with double shower heads. From the
king size bed you can enjoy a fireplace next to a sitting area with
a large TV. There is a lovely wooden deck from the master suite
with views of the harbor (perfect for sunbathing or just reading a
good book)
The guest bedroom has a large baywindow with two twin beds, a TV and
private bathroom with shower. All bedrooms are equipped with alarm
clocks.
Vacation Rental Amenities
Extensive amenities are provided with this rental. Each bedroom has
its own TV with cable channels and alarm clocks. The TV in the
master suite is in a private sitting area with fireplace. Each
bedroom has its own bathroom/shower - while the master suite has a
shower/jacuzzi tub with dual shower heads. Additionaly the master
suite has a large outside deck with views of the harbor.
The large elegantly furnished living area in addition to having a
large TV over the fireplace is equipped with DVD and VCR players.
Local telephone and high speed internet service is provided. French
doors in the living room open to a large used brick patio with a
propane BBQ, dining
table and chairs.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator with ice maker, a
gas range, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and all the necessary
dishes, glasses, cooking utensils and silverware. Additionaly a
seperate wet bar is fully equipped with the appropriate bar glasses
and bar equipement.
A rare feature for Balboa Island is the availability of a closed
garage equipped with an automatic door opener for off street
parking. A new washer and dryer are also provided for your use and
convenience.
Activities and Attractions
Our rental Villa is located steps from from the bay and beaches.
Additionaly it is located within walking distance of the charming
tree lined Main Street of Balboa Island with its many restaurants,
boutiques, and charming retail and coffe shops.
A short walk away is the landmark Balboa Island Ferry in operation
since the 1920's which shuttles people in cars, bikes, or on foot
across the harbor to the Balboa Penninsula which is home to the
landmark Balboa Pavillion which just celebrated its 100 year
anniversary. There is a Ferris Wheel, rides, and arcade games
available to all. This area will offers more waterfront
recreational activities per square inch than any other area in
Orange County. Some of the best body surfing/body boarding in the
world can be seen at the "Wedge" - a short bike ride from there.
Day boat trips to Catalina Island and fishings boats are available
from this area as well.
Balboa Island is part of the City of Newport Beach which boasts over
nine miles of costline in Orange County and is a world renowned
recreational area surrounded by one of the most busiest small
harbors in the world.
Located a few miles from Balboa Island is the world-class outdoor
shopping mall destination of Fashion Island with more than 200
stores, 40 restaurants and two Cinema Complexes. There is also
Championship golf at famed Pelican Hills and Monarch Beach along
with many world class spas nearby.
It's approximately 20 minutes to Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm.
1 hour to Los Angeles (Beverly Hills, Santa Monica) 1 hour to san
Diego and to Sea World or the Zoo. 2 hours to Mexico (Tiajuana)
John Wayne(Santa Ana) Airport is approximately a 15 minute drive
from Balboa Island, while LAX Airport is approximately 45 minutes
and San Diego Airport is 1 hour 30 minutes away.
