Knotty Pine Lodge in Boise

This elegant home has just been redesigned and remodeled
throughout. It is surrounded by forest with miles of trails, both
for walking and cross-country skiing. It is on Highway 21 which is
always kept open in winter and is only 35 minutes from the Boise
airport. It has the best tasting water you will find anywhere!
The huge kitchen is wide open and bright with all new
appliances.
The bedrooms, named Gold Room, Hummingbird room, Syringa room
(Idaho's flower) and The Holiday Suite are large and bright, with
room enough for spending some quality time alone if desired.
The Great Room is designed for comfort and conversation in front
of the fire while a game room is available for puzzles and games for
children and adults with skylights to see the sky which is usually
bright blue with white clouds (300 days of the year).

Each bedroom is unique and beautifully appointed. The Holiday
Suite is spectacular, a quiet retreat. A game/meeting room has
space for games, putting together puzzles, reading. TV is available
only in the Holiday Suite.
A jacuzzi is in the Holiday Suite with a spectacular view of
the mountains while you luxuriate in the warm water.
The dining area will seat 12-18 people easily.
A trout stream is a few feet from the back door with deer,
foxes, hummingbirds, quail and much more nearby. A fire ring is in
the back patio area next to the stream. A gazebo in the back yard
provides a lovely place away from mosquitoes in the evenings.
The Holiday Suite has a king bed, queen bed, TV, fireplace, two-
person shower, jacuzzi and 600 square feet of space. A lovely place
to relax and enjoy the quiet.

Idaho City, just one mile away, was the largest town in the
northwest in the 1980s as a goldmining town. It is the county seat
now. Delightful action dramas are performed on Main Street every
week in the summer plus many other fairs and events. There is a
museum, an old church and original historical buildings plus
restaurants.
Cross-country skiing, sledding, fishing, hunting, horseback
riding are available nearby. The area is a major hunting spot for
deer and elk in season.
A game room provides puzzles, books, games. The entire house
is wired for your computer and we have Broadband service. No
cellphone service is available.
