Great location/great inexpensive rental

Wow! I don't understand the negative reviews! When we arrived this duplex was very clean, the sofas did need a little touch up but we were thrilled with the accommodations! Especially for the price! You can't beat having your own little kitchen, living area, nice bathroom, and bedroom for 550 plus tax per week!! The pool was great and heated and we had our own dock for our boat. Will definitely return! PS, the owner was very friendly, talked to him when he came to clean the pool, he answered all of our questions and pointed us in the directions of some fabulous seafood restaurants!

Please read before renting

We arrived around 11pm to find the key not in the drop box at the office where we were told it would be. We drove over to the condo thinking maybe it was there instead but it wasn't. So we called the office only to be ask why we were calling so late and then hung up on ! We were able to get the owners number and called the owner who said he would bring us the keys (mind you he knew we were at the rental property). After waiting around for a hour for him we drove over to his office to find out he threw the keys in the drop box and went back home without telling us. Once we got into the condo we found it so dirty that we had to lay sheets on the furniture(the same stuff in the photo)just to be able to sit on it. You couldn't walk around barefoot or your feet would turn black. The bathroom floor had dead bugs and hair in it, the kitchen drawers full of trash and mixture of mismatched dishes & silverware, and a army of small little bugs roaming the countertop everyday no matter how many you killed they would be back. Also there were a few roaches and spiders to deal with. When we talked to the owner he had no concern with any of our complaints and was just plain rude. He treated us like he just got our money now just deal with it! The best part of the condo was the pool which didn't have skimmer, only vacuumed once, and was not private like the ad stated(shared with the people next door. The laundry room in the garage was so dirty and full of cob webs that I had to clean it before my girlfriend would go into it. I would never recommend this place!!!

Great location! Great potential!

Just returned. The price can not be beat! With that being said, the accommdations are very modest. Even my fiance commented that there was probably $500 worth of furnishings, tops! There were no "extras", so we bought toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, matches to light the grill, salt, pepper, coffee, etc... Since we flew in, we could not haul all these things with us. Several shelves are broken in the fridge. AC worked very well, pool was nice, but no net to clean out. We rented a boat, also great deal, but the GPS and live well only worked part of the time. Motor was dependable and very gas friendly for all the running around we did. I would stay again, but probably in the 2 bedroom unit, which appeared to be in slightly better condition.

Recommended for: adventure seekers
