Vacation Rental Description

The Wolf Den Chalet is a very clean, well-kept home that is located in
the forest outside of Big Trees State Park.  A number of beautiful
trees surround the home in a very tranquil setting.  A large deck is
located on the front to sit outside and contemplate life and mother
nature.

The Wolf Den Chalet is located in Big Trees Village which is about 7
miles "up the hill" from Arnold at a 5,000 foot elevation on Hwy 4. 
More snowfall is found here during the winter months and temperatures
are cooler than Arnold due to the higher elevation.  20 minutes
further on Hwy 4 you will find Bear Valley Ski Resort.

This spacious home, with over 2500 square feet of space, has an
excellent floor plan which is perfect for a couple of couples or
larger groups.  Cathedral knotty-pine ceilings, abundant windows and a
wood-burning stove add to this chalet's warm feel.  The chalet is
immaculately maintained and comments are received regularly this is
the cleanest cabin ever rented by our guests.  Because of the quality
of the home and the surroundings, there are many repeat guests who
look forward to their stay.

The chalet has a level driveway for easy access during the winter and
summer months.  There are two steps for entrance into the front of the
home and 3 steps into the home from the large attached double car
garage.  The master bedroom is located on the main floor and is in an
ideal location of the house for those that may be mobility bound.

This is a fantastic place to vacation any time of the year.  This is a
family oriented destination that accommodates most water and snow
activities.  In addition, this chalet is great for those that want to
stay "cabin bound" as it has all of the goodies to make one comfortable.

Vacation Rental Amenities

The chalet includes a number of amenities.

Kitchen
The Full Kitchen includes a Microwave, Dishwasher, Refrigerator, Small
Applicances (i.e. coffee grinder, etc.), Cooking Untensils, Arry of
Pots & Pans, Bakeware, etc.  There is a table which seats six in the
kitchen along with a fold out table located in the closet allowing for
another 4 to be seated.  The bar area will seat two as well.

Fun Things To Do
There is a dedicated game room that contains a Pool Table, Foosball, a
Pinball Machine, Ms. Pacman, Jukebox, Wet Bar and a Refrigerator.  In
the garage, is a Bar Room type Electronic Dart Game and a Ping Pong
table.  A television is available in the game room as well to watch.
Snow play equipment is also available for your use.

Master Bedroom & Bathroom
You will enjoy the oversized shower with 2 shower heads.  The shower
is also a steam sauna with a large bench.  This is very relaxing after
a long day of skiing.  A television with available cable TV
programming and a DVD/VCR is available as well.

Internet & Business Services
A high speed Internet connection is available in the chalet.  Both a
wired and wireless connection can be found.  You can sit on the front
deck enjoying mother nature while you cruise the Internet.  Also, a
"Computer Icebox" is available for those needing to do work away from
home.  The Icebox contains a 17" monitor, Fax Machine and Printer and
Router.  Be sure to bring your network cable and/or USB printer cable.

Loft
A selection of DVDs and VHS tapes is available to watch on the large
television.  Cable TV is also available to view as well.  A stereo
system with speakers in the loft and game room is at your fingertips
to play your favorite music.

Phone
Telephones are located in the master bedroom, kitchen and loft.  You
will need to bring your calling card for long distance phone calls.

Please bring your own linens and paper goods (i.e. toilet paper, paper
towels).  We supply pillows and blankets.  You'll need to bring
sheets, pillowcases and towels.  Bed sizes are four (4) queens, a
double and a single.

An electric and propane gas barbeque is available for making your
favorite foods outdoors.

Activities and Attractions

There are a number of activities in the area.  For dining, the town of
Arnold offers a variety of restaurants ranging from hamburgers (Giant
Burger) to more upscale cuisine (Blue Coyote Cafe).

Going further down the hill you will find Murphys which is described
by some as the Carmel of the Redwoods.  There are a number of fine
eateries in the quaint town of Murphys.  Going a bit further down the
hill, you will also find the interesting town of Angels Camp. 
Eateries along with a movie theatre can be found there.

Guests are allowed use of the Big Trees Village association facilities
during the summer months (May 31 to August 31).  Two swimming pools
are available as well as picnic grounds, basketball courts, softball
diamond and other recreational/fun (i.e. movie nights, game nights)
activities.

During the winter months, Downhill Skiing is available 20 minutes away
at Bear Valley Ski Resort.  Sledding, Snow Tubing, Cross Country
Skiing and Snow Shoeing are available during the winter months. 
During the summer months, take a drive to beautiful Ebbett's lake and
experience a pristine, high elevation lake.  Hiking (Big Trees State
Park), Fishing, Wildlife Viewing, Sightseeing, Swimming, Biking, Golf
and other activities are available during the summer months.

Cleaning Fee included with rental rates.  Additional cleaning
fees may be applicable if extraordinary cleaning is necessary.

Additional Guests: $10/night or $40/week per person over 10 guests, 14
maximum.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellations make prior to 30 days before the resevation date are
fully refundable less a $25 cancellation fee.

Guests cancelling fewer than 30 days in advance may be responsible for
the basic chalet rental fee (no extra person fees) if the chalet
cannot be rented.  If the chalet does rent, there is a $25 cancellatin
fee.

Payment of the rental and deposit is to be made in advance.  Payment
via a major charge card (Visa/MasterCard, Discover, AMEX) is available
for those that desire that method of payment.
