The Ko'olani Kai is located in Hale Koolau, a family owned & operated group of ocean & beach front vacation rental homes in Honolulu, Hawaii located in the fishing town of Hauula on Oahu's North Shore near the Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay, Kualoa Ranch, and many other wonderful Oahu attractions. We are located approximately 45 minutes from Honolulu International Airport on the North East coast of Oahu; where the Ko'olau Mountains touch the Pacific Ocean. Our community of single family homes, small shops, and quaint restaurants is very different from the high rise retail/tourist center of Waikiki. With hiking trails and unspoiled reefs, we offer a glimpse of the Oahu of yesteryear with convenient access to the night life and modern pleasures of Honolulu & Waikiki.

The Ko'olani Kai "Tranquil Sea" is a centrally air-conditioned direct ocean & beachfront vacation home on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii and offers breathtaking ocean & mountain views from every room. This is a spacious (1200+ sf living area) 2 bedroom, 1 bath home. The Ko'olani Kai features a completely remodeled (2006) modern and open kitchen with full size stove/range, dishwasher, microwave, side by side fridge, and all the cooking utensils you need to prepare complete meals. The kitchen opens to the living area with a convenient breakfast bar/nook. The living area is richly decorated
with warm tropical & plantation style furniture and enjoys wrap-around breath-taking ocean views. There are two queen size sleeper sofas in the living room in addition to a dining area with mahogany dinner table & seating for four and you'll love the hand carved pineapple dining chairs. The master suite has wrap-around ocean & mountain views and is furnished with elegant and tropical teak furniture with a queen size bed. The second bedroom also has a queen size bed and heavy teak and tropical furniture for an elegant feel. Both beds were replaced in 2006 with new pillow top mattresses. All areas of the home have ceiling fans and air-conditoning, however they are rarely necessary as this home enjoys wonderful tropical breezes year around.

Enjoy relaxing on your direct ocean front deck which opens up to the blue South Pacific ocean only 20 feet away. Your deck area has an outdoor dining table with seating for six. There is plenty of area for sunbathing on the beach or on the grassy yard. Watch spectacular sunrises while soaking in a six man hot tub just steps away. Stroll down the beach to the Hauula beach park and coral preserve for some great snorkeling and swimming or take our ocean kayaks out for some adventure. Close by are world famous North Shore attractions such as the Hauula hiking trails & preserve, Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay Resort & Golf, Brigham Young University, Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay, Kualoa Ranch and the last unspoiled "Hawaiian" style towns on Oahu. 3 nights or more      $224.99

5 nights or more      $199.99

7 nights or more      $174.99

We charge a flat rate of $1,834.00 for reservations covering Christmas or New Year's Holiday.  This rate covers up to 7 nights.  Additional nights are billed at the normal nightly rate.  Christmas reservations must vacate by December 29 and New Years reservations cannot arrive earlier than December 29.  Reservations which include both Christmas and New Years are billed a flat rate of $3,668.00 and cover up to 14 nights.  Additional nights are billed at the normal rate.

TERMS:

All rates quoted are based upon four (4) person occupancy and are charged based upon the amount of nights you stay.

Absolute minimum requirement for booking a reservation is three (3) nights.

Minimum requirement for Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving, Easter and BYU Graduation (Spring) is 7 nights.

Minimum requirement for Memorial Day, Labor Day and Fourth of July is 5 nights.

Add $15.99 daily charge for each additional guest over four (4) person occupancy up to a maximum of eight (8) people, including children over 1 year of age..

One (1) parking stall is provided per vacation home. Extra parking may be ordered through owner's secure online reservation system.

Add a $100.00 one-time cleaning fee to all reservations.
