Vacation Rental Description

Aloha & thank you for your interest in our ocean & beachfront 
vacation rental, the Hauula Lanai "Balcony Suite".  The Hauula Lanai 
is located in Hale Koolau, a family owned & operated group of ocean 
& beach front vacation rental homes in Honolulu, Hawaii located in 
the fishing town of Hauula on Oahu's North Shore near the Polynesian 
Cultural Center, Turtle Bay, Kualoa Ranch, and many other wonderful 
Oahu attractions. We are located approximately 45 minutes from 
Honolulu International Airport on the North East coast of Oahu; 
where the Ko’olau Mountains touch the Pacific Ocean. Our community 
of single family homes, small shops, and quaint restaurants is very 
different from the high rise retail/ tourist center of Waikiki. With 
hiking trails and unspoiled reefs, we offer a glimpse of the Oahu of 
yesteryear with convenient access to the night life and modern 
pleasures of Honolulu & Waikiki.

Vacation Rental Amenities

The Hauula Lanai "Balcony Suite" is a very large (1200+ sf living 
area) private 2 bedroom, 1 bath direct oceanfront suite that enjoys 
dramatic views of the entire Hauula Bay & Koolau Mountains from its 
expansive (500+sf) private oceanfront lanai “balcony.”  The living 
area is richly decorated with warm tropical & plantation style 
furniture and enjoys wrap-around breath-taking ocean views.  There 
is a queen size futon, plantation chair, and 2 arm chairs in the 
living room which is adjacent to the Kitchen & dining area featuring 
a teak dining table & seating for four.  The Hauula Lanai has a 
completely remodeled (2006) kitchen has granite countertops, 
stainless steel stove/range, microwave, fridge, and all the cooking 
utensils you need to prepare a complete meal. The main bedroom has 
great ocean, mountain, & garden views and features a teak & bamboo 
King size bedroom set.  The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed with 
pillow top mattress and enjoys garden views.  All areas of the home 
have ceiling fans, however they are rarely necessary as this home 
enjoys wonderful tropical breezes year around.  The spacious and 
airy Hauula Lanai is by far our most private and the perfect place 
to relax "Hawaiian Style."

Activities and Attractions

Enjoy relaxing on your own private & expansive oceanfront lanai 
overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Hauula Bay & Koolau Mountains.  Your 
private lanai also has an outdoor dining table with seating for 
six.  There is plenty of area for sunbathing on the beach 
or on the grassy yard.  Relax and watch spectacular sunrises while 
soaking in a six man sunk-in hot tub just steps away. Stroll down 
the beach to the Hauula beach park and coral preserve for some great 
snorkeling and swimming or take our ocean kayaks out for some 
adventure. Close by are world famous North Shore attractions such as 
the Hauula hiking trails & preserve, Polynesian Cultural Center, 
Turtle Bay Resort & Golf, Brigham Young University, Sunset Beach, 
Waimea Bay, Kualoa Ranch and the last unspoiled "Hawaiian" style 
towns on Oahu. Come enjoy your Hawaii vacation directly on the beach 
with this North Shore oceanfront vacation home.

*Minimum stay is 5 nights, however exceptions can be made to fill 
gaps in calendar.  Inquire for more details.
*A 7 night minimum is required for popular holidays like 4th of 
July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, etc.  Please
