Vacation Rental Description

 Welcome to Three Bears Lodge at Mt. Rainier!

Surrounded by old growth cedar and fir trees, Three Bears Lodge feels
exquisitely removed from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet is
just an hour’s drive from Tacoma, Washington. Our mountain home is
conveniently located less than 200 yards from the Paradise (Nisqually)
entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park. White washed blue pine walls,
vaulted ceilings, skylights, and the hand crafted stone fireplace are
just a few of the beautiful features that make our lodge a cut above
the rest. We've taken pride in every detail to make a warm and
inviting retreat perfect for a gathering of family or friends.

The dining and living room area share a vaulted beam ceiling with
skylights, whitewashed blue pine walls and stone fireplace (with gas
insert). Furnishings include a cozy leather couch, rocking chairs and
dining table that comfortably seats six. For your in home
entertainment, we have provided television with local channels via
satellite dish, DVD, VHS, XBox & CD player, as well as numerous board
games, puzzles and books.

Truly charming, the kitchen is finished in traditional knotty pine
with glass-front cabinets, tile countertops, and A-frame angled walls.
Gas stove, microwave, dishwasher and full-size refrigerator and
thoroughly equipped with accessories. A sliding glass door opens to
the deck where you’ll find the gas BBQ.

There are two private bedrooms on the main floor, one with a
queen-size bed, the other a full-size deluxe futon. Upstairs there is
a queen-size bed at one end of the large A-frame and a trundle bed set
(two twins) at the other end separated with privacy curtains. The
loft, overlooking the living room, offers two more single beds
slightly narrower than a standard twin. All totaled there are seven
beds comfortably sleeping up to ten guests.

A newly installed 8’ hot tub with 44 rotational jets(!) sits under
large cedars in the secluded back yard with easy access to either main
floor guest room. Please bring your own beach towels for hot tub use.
Whirlpool Duet Washer/dryer available for your convenience.

Cell phone service is unavailable in the area. We have a telephone in
the lodge for free local calls. For long distance bring a calling card.

and VCR with a collection of movies, XBox, Stereo, CD Player, Top
quality Bed Linens, Quilts & Down (and down alternative) Blankets and

Dishwasher, Coffee Maker and Starbucks coffee, Toaster, Blender, Gas
BBQ Grill, Washer/Dryer, Phone, No Smoking/No Pets, Kids are Welcome.

Activities and Attractions

 Hike natural wooded trails, identify meadow wildflowers, enjoy the
wildlife, go fishing, mountain biking or just snap some photos. Enjoy
mountain climbing, take in the glaciers, waterfalls, or old growth
forests. In the fall view the spectacular autumn colors. During the
winter take guided snowshoe or cross country skiing tours with the
park rangers, rent snowmobiles or bring up your sleds. Nearby
attractions include Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad, Northwest Trek
Wildlife Park, Recycled Spirits of Iron Sculpture Garden, EZ Times
Outfitters Horseback Rides, and boating and fishing at Alder Lake.

Vacation Rental Rates

October through May 15th: $160 for the first two guests.
Weekends October through May 15th: $260 for the first two guests
Summer & most Holidays: $310 midweek/$330 weekends for the first four
guests
Peak Holidays: $350 for the first four guests

Additional guests beyond what’s included in the base rate are $20 per
person per night for those over age 12, $10 per person per night for
children age 2-12, and children under age 2 stay free of charge.
