of windows and a floor to ceiling river rock fireplace, billiard 
room, large entry and open floor plan with ability to close off space 
and private bedrooms away from the public areas.  Storage space for 
gear.  Suitable for entertaining, family gatherings or corporate 
retreats.  

Vacation Rental Amenities

Ten minutes from the town of Hood River and the Columbia Gorge, and 
within an hour to three ski resorts on Mt. Hood.  Quiet and secluded 
site on 24 acres, accessed through a fruit orchard.  Air conditioned, 
three fireplaces including antique wood stove in kitchen.  Master 
bedroom suite, kitchen, formal dining room, powder room, great room 
and library on main floor, bedroom suite on top floor, with three 
additional bedrooms on lower level with bathroom, laundry room, 
storage room and billiard/family room. Master bedroom suite (queen 
bed) with jaccuzzi tub, second bedroom suite with private bath, other 
bedrooms with queen, twins, and bunkbeds.  Several tv's, satellite 
service, and wireless DSL.

Activities and Attractions

Located within an hour's drive from Portland International Airport, 
in the Hood River vicinity and ten minutes from world class 
windsurfing on the Columbia Gorge.  Within an hour of three ski 
resorts on Mt. Hood including Timberline Lodge with skiing almost 
year-round.  Golf, climbing, hiking, tennis, whitewater rafting, 
kayaking, excellent skateboarding park, fantastic public pools open 
year-round, biking and mountain biking trails minutes away; shopping, 
fine dining, fishing, horseback riding, berry picking, and local 
wineries and brew pubs all within a short drive.  Local sites include 
fish hatcheries with 10'+ sturgeons, museums with Indian artifacts, 
local galleries, spas, antique train rides up the Hood River valley, 
Sternwheeler rides on the Columbia including Lewis and Clark tours.  
Hire a yacht for a closeup sail among the windsurfers, visit farm 
stands to sample local produce that makes this area famous - and 
beautiful, including pears, cherries, and apples, or simply kick back 
on the deck and enjoy a little heaven on earth.

Vacation Rental Rates

June through August weekly rentals only at $3000 per week.  September 
through May, $3000 per week, or $500 per night with a two night 
minimum.  Three night minimum on holiday weekends.  $500 security 
deposit required, payment in full 45 days in advance.
