Riverfront, 3+ Bedrooms / 2 Baths, Hot Tub , Near Beach
The house is located in the resort town of Seaside, on the Necanicum
River, 5 blocks to the beach, and near the city center. It is an
easy walk to the beach, 2 blocks to the outlet mall and theater, and
7 blocks to resort district with restaurants and shops. Eagles and
blue herons are frequent visitors to the riverfront, with a
protected estuary just down stream. Fish or canoe from the
riverbank, or crab from the bridge, the areas best spot, just 2
blocks away. The home has a large peaceful yard with river access.
The large living room is cozy with a Vermont Castings gas fireplace
and outdoor deck over looking the river and 6 person outdoor hot
tub. The kitchen is well equipped and has a separate dining area.
Canoes and kayaks can be rented next door, which also has a full
service espresso bar, Internet kiosk; as well as private rooms and
dorms for overflow lodging.

room 1 = queen bed; room 2 = full size bed; room 3 = full size bed
and set of bunks; den with a hide-a-bed (can be 4th bedroom option);
2 full baths (one w/ tub/shower, one w/shower); Equipped kitchen and
dining room w/ microwave, range, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher,
coffee maker, pans, dishes & utensils. Large living room w/ Vermont
Castings gas fireplace, cable TV, VCR (w/movies) and DVD player), games, guitar. 6 person outdoor hot tub; deck and large yard w/ river view and river access; barbecue; outdoor tables and chairs. Laundry room w/ washer & dryer. Off street parking for 4 cars.

Festivals & Events - the town hosts many year round events. Here’s a
sample: Seaside...And All That Jazz; 4th of July Celebration; Hood
to Coast (200 mile relay run from Mt. Hood to Seaside); National
Beach Volleyball Tournament; Sand Castle Sculptures (Cannon Beach);
Kite Competitions; & Yuletide at Seaside.

Canoe or Kayak - right from the house on the calm waters of the
Necanicum River. Canoes and sea kayaks are available to rent right
next door.

Biking - all types can be rented 2 blocks away or bring your own and
ride the 2 mile ocean promenade or mountain bike the trails.

Shopping - Broadway (9 blocks) features locally owned shops,
galleries, bookstores, antiques, arcades & many cafes. Seaside
Outlet Shops and Cinema are 3 blocks away.

Hiking - there are a number of hiking trails in the area including
the designated National Wild and Scenic Tillamook Head Trail. This 8
mile trail cascades high above the ocean from Seaside to Cannon
Beach, through old growth forests, to secluded beaches and coves. Or
explore the Necanicum Estuary, just a few blocks from the house,
where the river meets the ocean and home to many birds and marine
life.

Fishing/crabbing: river fishing right from the back yard; crab from
12th Ave. bridge, the best crabbing in the area, 2 blocks away

low season: mid week: $160/night; weekend: $175/night
(Oct 1 - Feb 28, excluding Thanksgiving Day & weekend, Christmas
break, and President's Weekend)

mid season: mid week: $175/night; weekend: $200/night
(Mar 1 - May 20, plus Thanksgiving Day & weekend, Christmas break,
and President's Weekend)

high season: mid week: $200/night; weekend: $250/night
(May 21 - Sept 30)

Hood to Coast weekend $300/night


*Rates are for up to 6 people, $10/person/night beyond 6, maximum of
12 people

2 night minimum*, 7th Night Free
$300 refundable damage / excessive cleaning deposit

Weekly discount: 7th night is free!
*5 night minimum July - August
(shorter times within 1 month of reservation or as they fit between
other reservations) 1/3 deposit required to reserve, with balance
due 30 days before arrival. Seaside has a lodging tax of 9%.

Cancellation policy: deposit is forfieted if reservation is
cancelled. If cancelled within 30 days of arrival, entire amount
will be forfieted. We will try to work with you in cases of
emergancy or date changes.
