Vacation Rental Description

Great 1 bedroom, 1 bath cabin with relaxing screened in porch.  Sit 
and listen to the wonderful sounds of nature. Furnished with a fully 
stocked kitchen ready to cook in, BBQ Grill, gas log fireplace 
(seasonal), Cable TV, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, 
hair dryer, iron and iron board and deck furniture. The bathroom 
includes a shower with a separate tub for relaxation and a large 
closet area.  A washer and dryer are also provided for your 
convenience.

We offer high speed internet access.

Please Note:  Our cabin is only for responsible adults and 
families.  There will be absolutely NO HOUSE PARTIES.

Here is the breakdown of sleeping arrangements:

Living Room:
1 Futon - Sleeps 2 adults
1 Sleeper Sofa - Sleeps 2 adults

Bedroom:
1 Queen Bed - Sleeps 2 adults
1 Day Bed - Sleeps 1 adult

The cabin is directly on High Rock Lake with a spectacular 4 level 
pier.  A guest fishing permit is provided to allow guests to fish 
from the floating dock or pier.

Vacation Rental Amenities

The cabin has central a/c and a heat pump. 
We have cable television upstairs and downstairs, local telephone 
service, and HIGH SPEED internet access for those bringing laptop 
computers and needing to stay "connected" to the world. 
DVD player, VCR, Stereo, Alarm clocks, Iron and Ironing board, Hair 
dryer, and Vacuum cleaner. 
There are 2 Jet Ski lifts on the pier. 
The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking meals. 

There at least 10 restaurants within 5 miles. The following are also 
within a short drive: 
*Movie Theater 
*Bowling 
*Childress Vineyard 
*Bob Timberlake Art Gallery 
 
There are several marinas located on High Rock Lake where you may 
have a meal or stock up on snacks.

Activities and Attractions

Childress Vineyards is open daily and is 6 miles away.
 
Besides RELAXING and enjoying the view, here are some other 
activities:

The Bob Timberlake Gallery is nestled in the heart of Lexington and 
is located less than 8 miles away.
 
Carmike Cinemas 8 is located in Lexington and offers the latest 
motion picture releases.
 
Lowes Motor Speedway offers tours and is 40 miles away.
 
Concord Mills is a shopping extravanza with a Nascar Theme Park and 
outlet shopping and is 40 miles away.

holiday rentals.  We will also give you the fourth night for $35.  
You can get 4 nights for $237.50 (instead of the regular price of 
$300)

2008 Rates:  
 
Sept 16th to April 30th:  $82 per night or $525 per week.  (2 nt 
minimum)
 
May 1st to Sept 15th:  $102 per night or $650 per week. (3 nt 
minimum)

Pet Surcharge = $5/night
 
2008 Holiday Rates:
 
Memorial Day Weekend - $110 per night 
 
July 1st to 8th:  $110 per night 
 
Labor Day Weekend - $110 per night 
 
Departure Cleaning Service (optional): $50 without pets and $75 with 
pets. 
 
Linen Service (optional):  $35*
 
Security Deposit: $100 for weekends / $150 for weekly stays
 
*Linen service includes fresh sheets, pillowcases, 2 bath towels, 2 
hand towels and 2 washcloths per guest.
