Vacation Rental Description

Uncommonly peaceful in a hectic world, our travelers' rest high atop
Doe Ridge is but 15 
minutes to downtown Boone and ASU. We are 4,100 feet above sea level,
and the wide and 
welcoming covered porch has splendid views, especially sunrises.
Inside, there's a large, full 
kitchen with handmade round, lazy-Susan table, fireplace.  Fire pit
outside 
and wood ready to use.
As of Memorial Day rent upstairs 2/1 (queen, double, twin, sleeper
sofa) only or rent upstairs and downstairs (2/1). Perfect for families
with older children, extended families vacationing together or friends
traveling together who need more room.
 

Vacation Rental Amenities

Gas grill, microwave, television, fireplace, fire pit, ceiling fans
(no air conditioning required!), 
books, games. All towels and linens provided. 

Activities and Attractions

Wildlife includes deer, wild turkey, rabbits, coyote, song birds and
fox. Nearby trails and 
waterfall on Howard's Creek. Secluded and serene but a 15 minute drive
to supermarket, 
theaters and restaurants. Boone/Blowing Rock/Banner Elk area is a top
tourist destination 
with attractions, shopping and recreational activities of all sorts.

Vacation Rental Rates

Two-night minimum required except during holidays, when 3 or 4 nights
are required. Based on two 
persons, rates begin at $100; Spring rates April to mid-May lower.
Fully refundable security 
deposit. Pet fee. Taxes 13 percent. Weekly and monthly rates 
available.
