THE HOUSE!  Escape the demands of everyday life in beautiful Green Lake, Wisconsin!  This architecturally significant lakefront home was built by a Frank Lloyd Wright protégé on a secluded street just off Illinois Avenue in downtown Green Lake!  Renovated just 18 months ago, this family retreat is perfect for families of all sizes and ages and sleeps up to 12, complete with a private pier and optional Shorestation.

The house features 3 bedrooms on the first floor, two with queen size beds and one with 2 twin size beds.  There is also a pull out sofa in the living room that sleeps 2.  In the lower level, there is a den that sleeps 4, with a TV, and a full bathroom, and laundry.  With the renovation, many of the architectural details were preserved, including the hardwood and slate floors, open pit fire place and the large windows overlooking the lake, sure to please any architectural enthusiast!

THE LOCATION! Just 4 blocks away from numerous restaurants, boat rentals, spa and parks – and just a 10-15 minute drive to downtown Princeton and Berlin!  Enjoy swimming, sun, fishing and relaxation on the private lakefront deck and pier, or an evening of grilling out on the patio and watching the sunset over the lake.

Enjoy a concert in the park every Wednesday evening, bowling, movie theatres, the Caestecker Library, the Princeton Flea Market, Farmers’ markets, Sunday morning Sailboat Races, and a Friday Night Fish Fry.  For the water enthusiast, there are numerous boat and jet-ski rentals and fishing tours on the lake, or head over to the Fox River for an afternoon of canoeing or kayaking. 

Many nearby parks offer picnic areas and shallow sandy bottom beaches for the younger children to enjoy. The parks also offer many hiking trails and biking maps, some of which go around the entire lake. Choose your trail for a full exercise workout or a relaxing walk to enjoy the gorgeous views, wildlife and native plantings. The Town of Green Lake is within walking distance of the home.

For the golf enthusiasts, there is a golf course just down the road from the house (Tuscumbia) and 3 other courses within 15 minutes, including the 2008 Wisconsin Golf Course of the Year, the Links Course at Lawsonia.
