Ocean Bay Park - Great Family House! in Fire Island

Perfect beach house to relax and leave your cares behind.  Our charming house is more enjoyable with each passing year as we continue to upgrade the things that we would enjoy for ourselves as well as our guests.  The house is great for families and smaller groups to share.  Appliances are modern and house is light and airy with wood laminate flooring throughout.  We'll be posting some updated photos in the spring reflecting some of our recent winter projects. 
It is NOT one of those houses that reeks of beer, nor a high-end 5-star resort.  It IS comfortable and cozy.  It is set up like a home so the cabinets contain little extras like spices for cooking, jug to bring down to beach, wine glasses, Q-tips, and many little comfort items not found in other rentals.  We also try to keep the house stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, condiments, etc. 

Sheets, kitchenware, beach chairs, bikes already in place. Both bedrooms are spacious and set up as follows: one bedroom has queen-sized bed - a rarity for a beach house, and second large bedroom has a bunk with a full-size bed on the bottom, twin on the top AND another full-size bed. Both bedrooms have air-conditioning (as well as heat - you never know!) Additionally, there is fold down sofa (for 1 or 2) and room for an air mattress or dog bed in the living room.  For best response, E-MAIL is best! Our house is conveniently located close to the ferry and the nightlife
(Flynns, Schooner, etc.) yet secluded enough to relax and enjoy peace and privacy. The ocean beach is only a short 2 minute walk - about 250 feet from the house. The Fire Island Hotel is also located in Ocean Bay Park and has a great little outdoor bar and swimming pool near the beach. Ocean Bay Park also has its own market, liquor store and pizzeria. Use our bikes and tour Fire Island on wheels or take a water taxi from the dock to get to other towns. Ocean Beach - is less than a mile walk or a quick bike ride away. Ocean Beach has some shopping, post office, nail salon, more eateries and a community room that shows movies on selected nights. Create your own getaway by enjoying the beach, restaurants, shopping and everything Fire Island has to offer!

Weeks ordinarily run from Monday to Sunday.
