Ocean Bay Park - Great Family House! in Fire Island

Perfect beach house to relax and leave your cares behind! Summer 2013 is expected to be a sweet one on Fire Island! Our charming house is more enjoyable with each passing year as we continue to upgrade the things that we would enjoy for ourselves as well as our guests.  The house is great for families and smaller groups to share.  Appliances are modern and house is light and airy with wood laminate flooring throughout. 
Our home is NOT one of those houses that reeks of beer and it's also not a high-end 5-star resort.  It IS comfortable and offers good vacation living. The house is set up like someone's home so the kitchen cabinets contain little extras like spices for cooking and teabags. the bathroom has Q-tips, band-aids, toothpaste, etc and you will find ketchup, dressings and other items for use in the fridge if you choose.  These little extras help you enjoy your vacation and reduce the stress of worrying that you forgot to pack items. We do our best to keep the house stocked with paper goods -toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags and laundry detergent, dish soap, etc.

Sheets, kitchenware, beach chairs, and bikes already in place. Both bedrooms are spacious and set up as follows: one bedroom has queen-sized bed - a rarity for a beach house, and second large bedroom has a bunk with a full-size bed on the bottom, twin on the top AND another full-size bed. Both bedrooms have air-conditioning or blankets for cool nights.  Additionally, there is fold down sofa (for 1 or 2) and room for an air mattress or dog bed in the living room.  For best response, E-MAIL is best! Our house is conveniently located close to the ferry and the nightlife
(Flynns, Schooner, etc.) yet secluded enough to relax and enjoy peace and privacy. The ocean beach is only a short 2 minute walk - about 250 feet from the house. The Fire Island Hotel is also located in Ocean Bay Park and has a great little outdoor bar and swimming pool near the beach. Ocean Bay Park several shops for your convenience. Use our bikes (or rent bikes from Schooners) and tour Fire Island on wheels. To get to Ocean Beach you may take a leisurely walk, 20 minutes or take a water taxi from the dock to get there or to any other towns on Fire Island. Ocean Beach - is less than a one-mile walk or a quick bike ride away where you will find some shopping, post office, nail salon, more eateries and a community room that shows movies on selected nights. Create your own getaway by enjoying the beach, restaurants, shopping and everything Fire Island has to offer!

June: 1,500 - $2,500 per week

July: $2,800 - $3,800 per week

August: $2,800 - $3,800 per week

Weeks ordinarily run from Monday to Sunday.
