Vacation Rental Description

Total Seclusion - Total Privacy and No Neighbors - No Public Roads.
You have discovered the perfect cabin getaway near Stevens Pass.  It 
is like Shangri-La with its serene awesome beauty, inspiration for 
the mind and soul, total privacy and seclusion, and quietness with no 
houses and the only road is the private Harmony Lodge road. 
Come, have fun in the snow and at our 1,000 s.f. totally secluded, 
fully equipped and furnished cabin rental. Come to this amazingly 
beautiful place, a locale where motion pictures are made. 
The lodge is nestled in a forested valley above 2,000 feet of river 
that dances in waterfalls over river rocks in the middle of 50 
privately owned acres.  The property goes up the side of a mountain, 
up the side of another mountain, and up and down the valley.  The 
view of the mountains and forested valley, river with sparkling 
waterfalls, and sky is magnificent.  The lodge was designed in 1929 
by a renowned architect as a hunting lodge for senators and was used 
for this purpose until the 1960s, when it was purchased by someone 
who owned until the mid 1990s.  The current owner is now sharing this 
preserved facility and land with you.  
There is a large deck surrounding the lodge.  On the deck on one side 
of the lodge is a 25-jet deluxe hot tub with a view of the forested 
valley and cascading river and Mount Index, and on another side of 
the lodge on the deck is a large outdoor gas barbeque with a view of 
the forested valley and cascading river and Mount Baring.
The lodge is 1,000 square feet, so there is lots of room to stretch 
out and relax with corners to get cozy in the furniture and enjoy the 
views from the various sides of the house.  The lodge has very large 
windows with panoramic views that overlook the river, mountains and 
forested valley, and sky.  The lodge is fully furnished and equipped, 
so all you need to bring is changes of clothes and basic foodstuffs 
to prepare in the full-size, fully equipped modern kitchen.  If you 
wish to dine out, restaurants are only a 10-minute drive.  In the 
bathroom for convenience is a hair dryer and body soaps.
In the Harmony Lodge bedroom, there is a double size bed with 2 
inches of memory foam as a mattress cover.  In the Harmony Lodge 325 
square foot great room, there are 2 couches on separate sides of the 
room near floor-to-ceiling windows, that fold out to double size beds 
with deluxe 11-1/2 inch mattresses, and a chair that folds out to a 
child bed also with an 11-1/2 inch mattress.  There is also a teak 
room divider for added privacy.
There are three cozy fireplaces that add beauty to Harmony Lodge. 
Children age 24 months and younger stay for free.  We are pet 
friendly.  Harmony Lodge is available year round.  We book nightly, 
weekends, weekly, and monthly.  Our patrons says that Harmony Lodge

special time with family and friends, for persons seeking solitude 
and inspiration, for a writer, and for a Stevens Pass ski vacation.

Activities and Attractions

On the property, you can hike on trails, swim in the river, fish 
for salmon and trout, and swing in the hammock over the river 
edge.  Eagles roost in the trees outside the lodge.  There is 
constant fun activities nearby the Harmony Lodge property also, such 
as the Stevens Pass ski area, river rafting, inner tubing or fishing 
in the Skykomish River, hiking on developed and uncrowded trails, 
kayaking, rock climbing, horseback riding, hot springs, browsing 
antique and art stores and museums, cozy taverns and restaurants, and 
stores that sell or rent equipment needed for these outdoor 
activities.
