Henkel Cottage-Classy & Clean!! in South Haven

The entire family will enjoy relaxing in the comfort of this charming bungalow located 1 block from the First St. Beach. 5 minutes to downtown shopping and dining.  The Henkel cottage was built in 2004, this 3 bedroom, 2 full bathroom home is warm, cozy and beautifully appointed. Special features such as teak hardwood floors, fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and  outdoor (heated) beach rinse make this a great value for your dollar.  The firepit is great to sit under the stars and laugh with the kids and we provide the smores! Grandpa & Grandma will love the glider swing and hammock.  The Henkel cottage is located next door to "Rose's Retreat".  A great set-up for families/friends that would like to vacation together.  BEDROOM ARRANGEMENTS:  Master: King Bed, 2nd Bedroom: Double bed & twin bunks, 3rd bedroom:  Single twin & twin bunks.  Living room pull out sofa sleeper.  We also have a toddler bed & portable crib on site.  All bedding provided.  No smoking and no pets please. 

Ready and at your convenience; Wireless internet, central air conditioning, gas fireplace, front loading washer & dryer, iron & ironing board, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, 42 inch living room tv with cable, 2 bedroom tvs, telephone, DVD player, video library, board games, and high chair. Brand new leather sofas in July 2009.  For your outdoor pleasure we offer a spacious patio with gas grill and hammock & glider swing. We also have a swingset, basketball hoop/basketball, beach toys and wagon. Best of all, a firepit to roast marshmallows with the kids. Firewood, marshmallows and roasting forks provided! Bedroom and kitchen linens also provided. We ask that you bring your personal bath and beach towels.

South Haven is 2 hours from Chicago, 3 hours from Detroit, 1 hour from South Bend and 1 hour from Grand Rapids. Enjoy all 4 seasons at our family getaway. You can take in lazy days at the beach, picking apples and blueberries, bike rides, ice cream, ice skating downtown, and so much more! There is also nearby antiquing, winery tours, golf, shopping and great dining. Come see why so many of our guests return year after year!  

Summer weekly rate $1900. Off season daily rates $200 per night with a 2 night minimum. 50% deposit is due within 10 days of reserving to hold the week. The remaining 50% is due 60 days prior to arrival date along with a $250 security deposit. The security deposit is returned within 2 weeks of departure. Should cancellation be necessary, we charge a $75 flat fee. If the cottage can be rebooked for that week, all funds will be returned, less the $75 flat fee. If the cottage cannot be rebooked, all funds paid will be forfeited less the security deposit. We will provide a rental agreement at time of reservation. Check-in time is 3:00 pm EST Friday and check-out is 10:00 am EST the following Friday. Please clarify number in party when making inquiry.  Reservations for maximum capacity may require additional fees.  WEEKEND RENTALS AVAILABLE SEPT-MAY.
