Beachfront House first north of ClubMed Beach Private Beach in Bahamas

Med Point is a 1 ROMANTIC BEDROOM OCEANFRONT BEACHHOUSE located in a great spot; it
is on Casuarina Beach, 100 feet from CLUB MED Beach (there
are NO properties between Med Point, and world-famous CLUB MED
Beach), and it is a short stroll to Twin Coves Beach, where the
movie "Three" was filmed. Casuarina Bay is 1 hour by air from Fort Lauderdale and 7 miles from Governors Harbour Airport. Walk 1.5 miles to town along Club med Beach from Med Point, and it will be 25 minutes.

The beach house has a huge 1100 square foot
teak wrap-around deck, and all the modern conveniences of home, with
a small kitchen, and large sliding glass doors on both sides facing
the ocean to maximize your viewing pleasure.  It has 1 bedroom with a KING BED, and 2 DAY BEDS, single size, in the living room.  The cottage has been NEWLY RENOVATED  in October 2009 by Governor's Harbour's premier designer, with wood floors ,Brazilian cherry doors,and white wainscot accents, with a blue and white color scheme .  Step outside the glass doors, and you will see ocean spreading away from you, and a tiny island in front of you.   There are miles of beach on both sides, with the famous pink sand beach of the old CLUB MED next door.  If you love the ocean,
this place is it, because you will see, smell, and hear the ocean
for 24 hours a day.  Herman, the fisherman who comes around, will catch lobster dinner for you daily!

Beach, Beach, Beach; 20 feet from it's own glorious sandy beach: close to Club Med Beach, where you can buy fish
when the fishermen come in, in the afternoon; also close to Tear
Coat Cay, a small island offshore, where you can do some snorkeling
closeby; also close to lots of reefs for other snorkeling. The water is "gin" clear, 100 feet of visibility, and we have seen Parrot fish, groupers, and other exotic fish. The water is 70 to 80 degrees fahrenheit.
The kitchen has a blender, large fridge, stove, microwave, toaster,
coffee maker, and the usual utensils.

The various gardens have coconut and royal palms, hibiscus and oleander and sea lettuce.Walk off one stairway on the deck and you will stand on a gorgeous coral garden and see the nearby blowhole that spouts 30 feet in the air.  Walk off the other steps past hibiscus and palms and geckkos onto Casuarina Bay Beach.

The famous bar/restaurant Tippy's is close, and there are upscale
restaurants such as Sky Beach Club, or the Beachhouse, (the latter only 15 minute walk away onthe beach) and
charming takeouts in Governor's Harbour.  Friday Night Fish Fry,
when you meet the whole town on the beach, should not be missed.

Christine, the caretaker, will bake bread and banana bread, and bring coconut water on request.

Beach combing, close to many beaches, snorkeling, swimming
sunbathing on deck, jogging on Club Med beach, which is a good 2
mile jog, on hard packed sand.  Just bring shorts, bikini and swim trunks.

Sailing, diving and boat rides can be arranged.  Tennis courts are available for rent 1.5 miles away.  Scuba diving is possible in these waters.
