Seagrape Cottage - Wonderful Gulf and Sunset Views! in Anna Maria Island

Seagrape Cottage is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home and has unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico. Located at 601 South Gulf Drive in Bradenton Beach on Anna Maria Island, it is a privately owned turn-key furnished “Old Florida Style” beach house that's shaded by large Seagrape trees. It's recently been updated with new appliances, kitchen and bathroom cabinets, ceramic tile, carpet and more. Even while updating, we've tried hard to retain the “beach house” atmosphere.

Seagrape is a 2 story home with the master bedroom and bathroom located upstairs in the “cupola” which has windows on all 4 sides that provide a tree-top view of both the Gulf and Bay. The master bedroom has two twin beds and lots of storage room. The upstairs bath is a full bath and offers a stall shower.

The two bedrooms downstairs have double beds. Besides the bedrooms, the ground floor also has a remodeled full bath with tub/shower combination, a big living/dining area with large windows, a fully equipped and newly remodeled kitchen with dishwasher, garbage disposal, most of the small appliances you could need plus a breakfast bar and nook with views of the beach. The couch in the living room has a pull out bed.

One of Seagrapes guest's favorite features is it's large wrap-around porch that's great for watching sunsets, eating meals or just relaxing and watching the world go by.

Turn-key furnished meaning all of the following are provided:

Seagrape is located directly across the street from the white sand beaches of Anna Maria Island. Beautiful views of sunrises over the Bay and Sunsets over the Gulf! Watch dolphins play in the gulf as the many bird species enjoy the water. The Island offers 7 miles of white sandy beaches that you can walk. In Bradenton there is a jogging, biking trail that extends the length of the public beach across from the house.

Some of the activities available are: boating (numerous boat ramps), boat/kayak/jet ski, Segway and moped rentals, deep sea fishing trips and charter boat excursions, sunset cruises, swimming, snorkeling/diving, canoeing, sailing, water-skiing, surfing, windsurfing, parasailing, shelling, rafting, fishing, wildlife viewing, horseback riding, tennis, racquetball, basketball, skateboard park, golfing, nature preserves with trails and boardwalks through mangrove habitats, museums, children's parks, shopping malls and much more!

This beautiful Gulf Coast Island has beautiful white sand beaches and a “small town” atmosphere, but is conveniently located hear “city” amenities. It has a Free Trolley that runs the length of the Island and is fun to ride to the restaurants, shopping (Gift, clothing, beach, furniture, antiques, & more) fishing piers, beaches and many other attractions that are located on the Island.The Island is easily reached from major roads I-75, I-275, US-41 and US-301.

Tampa International, St. Petersburg-Clearwater and Sarasota-Bradenton Airports are all within an hours drive.

There is a $150 damage deposit in addition to the $250 per week rental deposit. The damage deposit will be refunded within 21 days of your leaving if there is no damage and nothing is missing.

Discount for longer stays is as follows:
2 weeks** = $1850 + tax* (Discounted rate of $ 925 a week) + $85 cleaning fee
$ 500. Nonrefundable deposit required + $150 damage deposit

3 weeks** = $2750+ tax* (Discounted rate of $ 915 a week) + $85 cleaning fee
$ 750. Nonrefundable deposit required + $150 damage deposit

4 weeks** = $3600 + tax* (Discounted rate of $ 900 a week) + $85 cleaning fee
$ 1000. Nonrefundable deposit required. + $150 damage deposit  The 4 week rate is for 4 weeks only, not a calendar month!

*11.5% Florida Sales & Tourist tax will be added.

In order to reserve your stay for reservations made more than sixty (60) days prior to check-in, a $250.00 deposit is required for each week reserved or part thereof. The deposit, once paid is non-refundable but will be applied to the total cost of your stay if the remaining balance is paid in full when due. The remaining balance for the stay is due and payable sixty (60) days before check-in. If the remaining balance is not paid in full by then, the reservation shall be cancelled and that stay period shall be released for re-rental.  For a stay reserved less than sixty (60) days before check-in, the total amount of the rental must be paid in full in order to reserve that time period, and once paid, shall be non-refundable. 

Minimum rental is 4 days and is usually only considered off season. There is also an $85 cleaning fee.

**Multiple weeks must be consecutive to receive discount.
Deposits are due at the time the reservation is made and reservation deposits will be
deducted from the rental amount. The balance of the rent is due at check in. 

Sorry, we do not accept credit cards at this time. We have new owners that will be accepting cards mid June. At this time we do accept checks, money orders or cash for deposits.
Rates subject to change without notice, but rates quoted at the time the reservation was made will be honored.

Sleeps 6 people - $25 per person, per night will be charged for any
additional people over 10 years old.  Max number of people allowed per rental is 8.

Damage Any damage caused by a renter, their children or their guests will be fixed, and the cost deducted from damage deposit. Any balance over that amount will be billed to renter.

****PETS   Well trained adult dogs may be considered, reservation by reservation. Please contact us to ask if they will be allowed. If a dog is accepted, there is a $100 non refundable fee due at time of deposit. Dogs must be house trained and not chew on furniture. Any damage caused by an animal will be fixed, and the cost deducted from damage deposit. Any balance over that will be billed to renter.

Cancellations/Shortened Stay Policy:
In the event of a cancellation we require a 90 day notice of cancellation before the reservation date for a refund of your reservation deposit and/or rent. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 90 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full deposit/rental fee. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit.
