Charming, ultimate Craigville Beach hideaway located walking distance from popular Craigville Beach. The house is on a quiet, dead-end street of beautifully landscaped family styled homes. Lending itself to a getaway feel for your vacation, this beautiful home (light blue/white 2-story Cape with a red door), is situated at the end of a long cobblestone-lined driveway. The front yard's
mahogany boardwalk takes you to the front door. Entrance into the home will take you immediately into spectacular front-to-back 16 ft ceiling Great Room. Hardwood floors are in all the main floor public rooms. The Great Room's focus is on the white custom wall with a gas fireplace. A cabana-style, fully-equipped kitchen has a breakfast bar counter into the Great Room. The sunny privacy outdoor deck off the Great Room includes high-end white outdoor table/chairs w/ a blue/white striped umbrella, with barbecue area, perfect for beginning the evening with hors d'oeuvres and cocktails or serving lunch and breakfast. In the cooler evenings, move into the cheery yellow dining room with a 10ft bay window with your 6-8 guests for comfortable sitting at a French country table. Master Bedroom has high king-size bed and an attached master bath with a large stand-up shower. This completes the first floor.
The upstairs includes an office area (house is wireless equipped for your laptop) overlooking the Great Room. The upstairs Family Room, with its 'treehouse' feeling, has a 40' flat screen HDTV on the wall and is perfect for late night movies or rainy day TV viewing or spending time reading. There are two large bedrooms and a full bath with a tub/shower. Each large bedroom includes queen beds as well as a twin bed, one room's twin has a trundle (The upstairs works well for 2 couples).
The basement has a large sized washer/dryer and an extra fridge.

activities and attractions in Hyannisport Cape Cod
Sandwiched between exclusive Osterville and in West Hyannisport, walking distance to quaint Craigville Village and two beaches. Old/young alike can walk to Craigville Beach and Covell Beach. The area is a great area for walking, bike-riding, or scenic drives.
Visit not only Craigville village but also the nearby historic Centerville's main street consisting of beautiful large 18th Century Sea Captain homes. Your destination can be the famous red building housing the general store, famous for its penny candy. In summer, visit the famous Four Seas ice-cream parlor.
Even closer are two popular public beaches, Craigville Beach and Covell Beach are just down the street. Just pack up the cooler and follow the crowd down the main road. Food concessions, lifeguards, bathrooms/changing rooms are all open. Within biking distance are numerous other beaches and sites in historic Barnstable county.

Main street in Hyannis only 5 mins away. There are numerous excellent shops and restaurants as well as a lively night life. Plenty of places to dance and listen to live music of all types.
Lots of activities to keep anyone active -- children/teens, retirees, honeymooners (young and old).
Beaches and Harbors -- Fishing (ocean and river) swimming, snorkling,
sailing, boating, suntanning with a book and your IPOD, whale-watching
tours, bird-watching, hiking the doons, and more.
Cultural -- Melody Tent (see their website for the '09 calendar for well-known
entertainers) is 2 mins away; Live Theatre; Sandwich Arboretum;
House/Garden Tours; Cape House Playhouse (more well-known actors);
Music, movies and museums.
Shopping -- Close to Rt 6A (the old King's highway) with its antique homes, good restaurants and antique shops. Cape Cod Mall and the mecca of the Cape shopping is only 5 minutes away. Several main streets in the villages are only 5-10 minutes as well.
Sports: Golf -- Cape Cod is noted for its fine golf courses, both public and private. Kayaking, biking, etc.
A Day on the Islands -- Located 10 mins from the Hyannis Harbor to catch the ferries to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard.
A Day in Boston, Newport Beach, Providence -- approx. 1.5 hours away
Airports: Boston, MA (70 miles), Providence, RI (75 miles) or fly
directly into Hyannis airport on the Cape (only 3 miles away)
vacation rental rates
Cape is beautiful during the Spring - relaxing with businesses opening up and gearing up for summer. A great getaway for a week or two in June. (Weekly rates for early June is $1500 per week.
$150 deposit per weekly rental
$100 cleaning exit fee (refunded when house left clean)
Provide own linens (will provide linen for $100 linen rental, especially nice if flying in).
Work with Owner by phone, (ie. send payment by check when reserving your rental weeks.)
BOOK SUMMER '09 -- (ONE WEEK MINIMUM):
Saturday 3pm to Saturday 10am = $2200.00-$2500.00

BILLING AND RESERVING PROCESS:
1. Owner will send rental agreement via email.
2. Print and sign rental agreement (2 copies)
3. Mail to owner. (Call or email if questions)
4. Include two checks: one for the deposit of $150; and the second
check in the amount of 50% of your entire rental amount. (The other
50% will be expected based on discussion with Owner). The 50%
advance rental fee will hold your rental week(s).
5. Owner will sign and mail one of the copies to the renter as a
fully-signed copy.
6. The balance of the remaining 50% payment is due prior to rental or forfeit initial payment.
