Great location with lots of potential! Even better that they allow pets. While the space was great size-wise, it looks like it is neglected in regard to maintenance and appointments. Light bulbs were burnt out from the outside lights by the side door and garage, kitchen lights in high-hats and chandelier, hallway lights, and deck lights. I had someone fall down the steps as they couldn't see the bottom step. With vaulted-ceilings they were impossible to replace. Slider to deck barely slid, handle was broken and screen door was missing allowing bugs to fly in at will or people to get stuck outside. Fixtures in bathrooms (towel rack and hooks) were constantly falling off the wall. The outdoor shower, while in decent shape, was hardly accessible due to weeds and mosquitos. Landscaping rocks covered walkways as did dried up weeds that look like they had been sprayed and killed and never cleaned up. I did more cleaning up outside than I would have at home! Appointments were minimal - knives weren't sharp, pots and pans were inadequate to cook, especially as this property accommodates over 12 people. It took me 2 hours to cook breakfast one morning as there was not enough cookware. We had a great time, we were down the shore. But for the price paid, there was much to be desired. And just because we are pet-friendly doesn't mean that we don't expect what we would in a "non-pet-friendly" locale.
