you at our wonderful home located in Vanderhorst Plantation at 44
Trumpet Creeper, the perfect location to savour any season on Kiawah
Island. Inside and outside this home is a tranquil retreat that will
complete your Kiawah vacation. This luxurious courtyard home offers
privacy for every guest. Great home for two families.
The generous floor plan features refined living spaces and strongly
emphasizes privacy and serenity. All 3300 square feet have 10 ft.
ceilings and are professionally decorated including custom window
treatments, plantation shutters and hardwood floors throughout
accented by oriental rugs. When entering the main front door, your
breathtaking view is a magnificent veranda overlooking a private
kidney shaped heated pool surrounded by tropical landscaping.
The spacious, sun-filled house has two master suites each with their
own large bathrooms which include garden tubs, separate showers and
large walk-in closets.
Yellow strea' faux painted walls and beautiful costa smerelda
granite highlight the well equipped kitchen (two ovens, a gas range,
refrigerator, microwave, and a Bosch dishwasher plus all the cooking
utensils) where you and your companions can easily and effeciently
prepare great meals. Whether you are enjoying a family meal or a
game of cards, the round kitchen table with eight Louis XVI chairs
in the breakfast nook overlooking the pool is the perfect place for
memories to be instilled. A laundry room, half bath, and the butlers
bar are conveniently located directly off the kitchen.
For the special occasions, there is a formal dining room with a
parquet top Louis XV draw leaf table with 8 upholstered French side
chairs and matching Louis XV style server. The great room is the
perfect gathering room with comfortable seating for all guests which
opens to the screen porch, our favorite room to read the daily
complimentary newspaper or for watching the little ones take a
refreshing swim in the heated pool.
The cabana is also designed with your absolute comfort and privacy
in mind. The cabana has two bedrooms with separate private full
baths.
All four bedrooms have king-sized beds with the most soothing
mattresses you will ever sleep on away from home. In addition, each
bedroom has luxurious designer linens and towels, its own dedicated
TV, VCR, DVD, telephone and high speed DSL internet access with data
ports in each room allowing vacationers to "Escape to Kiawah" while
staying in touch. There are stereo speakers in all rooms in the main
house, on screen porch and in pool area. Since we have our first
grandchild, we also have arrangements for the little ones!
