vacation rental description
This modern house sits on the beach, in a gated area, overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and St. Joseph Peninsula State Park, which was recently ranked as the best beach in the U.S., (see link below for national rankings). The house as well as the beach is dog friendly.
Cape San Blas is known for its clear, clean, aquamarine water, sugar-like sand, tall dunes, stunning views, and secluded location. Today it is getting harder and harder to find a quiet place to soothe away stress. Well, this is the place!
With unobstructed views to the Gulf, the park and St. Joe Bay, “Parkside” at Secluded Dunes is one of the most desirable vacation destinations in the United States. This large, open, tastefully-furnished house, with top-of-the-line kitchen and all the amenities includes high speed internet, a 50 inch television, unlimited long distance and Wi-Fi. Two bedrooms have private bathrooms with king size beds and two have private bathrooms with queen size beds. The kids’ bunkroom sleeps three and has a half bath across the hall.
While watching the spectacular sunset over the Gulf from the huge screened-in porch, you may also see deer on the dunes or dolphin in the water. Early risers can watch the sunrise over “Parkside’s” private acreage.
Bring your boat and launch it at the state park, close by. There is plenty of room for your boat and several cars on site. The fishing is superb, either in the surf out front or minutes away in St. Joe Bay, where Tarpon make their yearly appearance in July and August. Cobia, Pompano, Redfish and Speckled Trout help make the Cape a fisherman’s paradise. Other activities include diving for scallops in late summer, crabbing, and beach combing. The surf is normally low, making for excellent swimming and kayaking. A two man kayak is provided as well as two bicycles, which you can ride along the five mile bike path next to Cape San Blas Road. The adjacent state park is a mecca for bird watchers.
Perhaps, best of all is the peace and quiet you will enjoy in the secluded, 2,500 acre beach park which is our immediate neighbor to the north.
