Casa Linz apartments in Merida

Casa Linz is a charming duplex with 2 one bedroom apartments in the
central historic district of Merida. Located on Calle 49 between
streets 60 and 62, it is a short walk to both the plaza grande as
well as the surrounding parks and Paseo Montejo where one will find
a wide variety of restaurants, musical entertainment, museums and
galleries.

Each apartment has 1 bedroom, newly renovated baths and fully
equipped kitchen as well as living room. Upstairs has a covered
terrace and an open sun deck. Downstairs has a covered patio as well
as garden with dip pool with shower spout as well as rear terrace.

We will be happy to email detailed floorplans of both units upon
request and answer additional questions about the property. Upstairs
and downstairs can be rented together at a discount to families who
need both bedrooms and baths and would like to share the garden/pool
area.

Both units have cable television and wireless internet.

Upstairs has air conditioning units in both the bedroom and kitchen.
Microwave, stove, cotton linens, hammocks and all towels are
provided. There is a queen size bed. Ceiling fans in every room. Newly remodeled kitchen has french doors that open to a screened covered terrace and large open sun deck. Sun deck has night lighting and both terrace and roof have hammock hooks for those who might like to sleep under the stars.

Downstairs features a bedroom with new king bed  that can convert to
twins, cotton linens, towels, large walk-in closet, step down
kitchen, dining area and living room. Ceiling fans in every room. New mini split air conditioner in bedroom will keep the apt cool in the warm months.
Garden has outdoor lighting if you wish to use the pool at night.
Lovely tropical plantings in a private setting! Use the upper pool spout to cool off at midday or just take a quick dip...

There is a grocery store, laundry, pizzaria, several coffee shops, bakery and fresh produce market all within a block or two.

Our property manager speaks excellent English and will be available to assist with any questions, maintenance or even help you plan a day trip during your visit.

Merida's symphony perfoms twice on the weekends. There are also free
concerts at the various parks during evenings throughout the week
and many opportunities to attend films, gallery openings, visit
museums and markets throughout the city. Many restaurants are within
walking distance and feature delicious yucatecan foods. The fresh
produce and meat market at Santa Ana Park is only 2 blocks away so local
dining is an easy and enjoyable part of a visit to Merida.

Mayan ruins are all within a short half hour to two hour drive,
depending on the site. So it is quite easy to use Merida as a base
from which to explore the many beaches, archaological sites and
small towns and haciendas that surround the city.

Monthly rates for upstairs apt are $800 November-April,(incl utilities) $600 May-
October. Wireless internet, propane, use of local cell phone and cable are included.(Electricity billed separately) There is a tv/dvd. 

 Weekly rates are $350 including utilities 10 percent discount for stays of 2 weeks or longer.

Daily rates (minimum 3 days) are $65.00. ($75 Christmas-Easter- weeks)

Monthly rates for downstairs apt are $800 October-April, $625 from May-
September. Wireless internet, propane, use of local cell phone and cable are included. Electricity is billed separately upon departure. There is a TV and DVD player.

Weekly rates are $385 in winter season and $350from May-October with a 10 percent discount for 2 week stays. All utilities are included in weekly or daily stays.

Daily rates are $70 with 3 day minimum. ($85 Christmas-Easter weeks)
