For the price of this home there is much left to be desired.
Good things: It is large and a quiet location. We met the owners and they seemed nice. But they have much work to do to make this home a true VACATIONERS enjoyment.
Poor: Broken furniture (couch in main room with large large holes and recliner with metal piece sticking out enough to cut two of us while walking by. The kitchen in second house sink rusted and very unsitely. The blinds everywhere in the house filthy dirty and some even broken when trying to open and close them. The white lounge chairs on deck filthy. Wouldn't want to sit on them without a towel to cover. The refrigerator in the "tiki" bar broken... unusable. The hot tub was only able to be turned on "sometimes". The pool alarm went off EVERY night ( a screaming wail) around 2 - 4 am at least once and sometimes 3 or 4 times a night. We didn't even swim in the pool due to the cold temperatures ( it is NOT heated). Not nearly enough dish towels (TWO) for the main kitchen. The kitchen utensils are quite sparse. The Trim on the living room floor was not even nailed down... we were told to make sure that the floors were kept completely dry. Hmmmmm??? with a pool and "hot tub"and children that could prove a little difficult. The exercise equipment is completely and totally unusable. Old, rickety, and way to difficult to even attempt a workout. The upstairs room that my son slept in, we found out on night number 2, was impossible to lock. The sliding glass door lock was broken and you could actually access that room from the deck stairs. There is NO DVD player in the main living room of the home. You had to go to the smaller rental and living room where the 6 of us couldn't fit on the couches to watch a DVD??? The dryer was so loud in the main room that you could not run it and even hear each other talk. The owner said that it was going to be repaired the week we were there... but no one came.
We visited friends the week we stayed in PCB. They were in a 3 bedroom bran new home DIRECTLY on the beach in a gated community. FOR LESS MONEY. This was NOT a great experience. If you are expecting a NICE and up to date home... my suggestion... look elsewhere. This home is not worth it.

Awesome 3 Family Vacation

What an Awesome property. We had three families with teenagers and young children and this property worked perfect. Pleanty of room and with all the extras here everyone was happy. The courtyard with the pool and the excercise room was a perfect, all the adults loved the poolside bar and all the seating. This property was so clean and exactly as described. Karen and her husband were so easy to work with and very friendly. The location is the best. On the quite side of town but close to everything. The public beach entrance is a very short walk from the house and the beach there was very clean. The guys in our group really liked the closeness of Mike's Oyster Bar. The also did Shark fishing and bottom fishing which they said was great. We love St. Andrews State Park for the little ones for swimming. Pier park is very close and us girls loved Tootsie. We have been coming PCB for several years now and this was our best choice in rental homes. We will definetly rent here again.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing

Wonderful Reunion Getaway

Our group of friends enjoyed our stay at "Paradise Found". The property was clean and well maintained. Karen and her husband were graciously accomodating. Everything went without a hitch and we couldn't have chosen a better spot for our reunion. The property is approx. 20 minutes from the airport and truly a short walk to the ocean. The pool area served as one of our comman areas as it's easily accessible with 3 sliders from the bedromms and a door from large living/eating area, not to mention the tiki bar with working refrigerator. The house is located on a quieter end of the strip but within a small drive to shopping at Pier Park shopping and Margaritaville as well as a couple of new attractions, Ripley's believe it or not and Wonderworks. We went to shell island for a day and did the airboat ride (which we were lucky enough to see an alligator). Stronly recommend the area and the home to people who want to enjoy a relaxing vacation but still want to be close to the action. If you go, you'll want to be sure to be "Freaky at the Tiki", Sandpiper Beacon Tiki. It's a short walk down Front St.
