convenient Sixth Avenue location. This country inn is the perfect  
oasis for rest, relaxation and reflection. Leave the cares of the  
outside world behind as you enjoy the surrounding Majestic Colorado  
Mountain peaks, take in the breathtaking beauty of the Rockies,  
stroll along the Uncompahgre River experiencing the peace and quiet,  
browse through the quaint artisan shops and galleries on Main Street  
Ouray, sleep in and awaken to the smell of fresh baked goods wafting  
into your dreams – basically enjoy life as it was meant to be. You  
can ski Telluride at half-price, snow mobile, cross country ski,  
flyfish, hike or jeep the high elevation trails, or sit in the  
natural hotsprings. You will find The Black Bear Manor Inn can  
become your own little piece of heaven on earth. Come, let our  
onsite host and hostess help you plan your vacation, make dinner  
reservations, reserve your jeep, and just simply pamper you into

Vacation Rental Amenities

Our, inside 9 bedrooms in the big house, all offer private baths,  
and private  
entrances. Enjoy breakfast served in the dining room, or just take  
coffee in the 3rd floor observatory, providing 270* views of the  
mountains. There is no more special spot to see the fireworks on New  
Years Eve, or the 4th of July, as the explosions come off the  
mountain tops in front of you, seemingly only feet away. Spend time  
in our hot tub, or sit in the large natural hotsprings a short walk  
away. All rooms offer satellite TV, and high speed wireless internet  
service. We'll provide samples of the famous Mouses Chocolate  
Truffels, made fresh in Ouray each day. We provide onsite host and  
hostess to help you with all your needs and desires.

Activities and Attractions

Activities for all seasons include world class skiing in Telluride  
and Silverton, cross country skiing, snow-mobileing, snow shoeing,  
ice-climbing (classes available), fly-fishing in alpine lakes and  
streams ( guides as needed), jeeping high elevation trails and  
mountain passes while being stunned by the vivid colors of the  
incredible flowers. 4th of July includes special events like the  
Famous Ouray waterfights on main street. The Black Bear has large  
decks to relax upon, and take in the postcard like scenary. The main  
street quaint shops provide the local and unusual works of art,  
perfect to take home as part of your memory.

Vacation Rental Rates

Weekly rates from  $3900 for 9 bedrooms including breakfast, to peak  
season and Holiday rates of only $7500. The 9 bedrooms  
sleep up to 20 people, all with private entrances and private baths.  
Additional rooms in an adjoining home called BabyBear. It has 3 more  
bedrooms and 2 baths, with Kitchen facilities. It can be rented for  
$1200 -$1800 a night separately, or with the big house, the
