Vacation Rental Description

This newly furnished and remodeled condo is within the walled city of
"Viejo San Juan's" historic district. The apartment condo is on the 
1st floor of a 2 story bldg.with gated entry, facing the Coast Guard 
bldg. and museum; also next to the "Paseo de la Princesa" park & 
Governor's mansion, La Fortaleza.  Within walking distance you will 
find excellent restaurants, patio & open air bars, shopping,fine art
galleries, historic churches, forts & plazas. The art galleries hold 
a late night exhibit the 1st Tues of the month & outdoor exhibits of 
local crafts are also in view. Located within walking distance to 
cruise ship piers, 5 min to Condado area with great beaches, fine 
shopping & casinos. Rental car not necessary since public 
transportation is plentiful, taxis avail 24 hr by Plaza Colon, there 
is also free trolley in Old SJ. "EL ESCAMBRON" BEACH is 2 miles from 
condo. This condo is convenient for vacationers that wish to visit 
Puerto Rico before or after a cruise. Great for professionals.

1 bedroom-queen bed; daybed with trundle in LR (makes into King)
(All the furniture is new since the condo was recently remodeled)
1 full bath with shower/tub combination
Central air plus 3 ceiling fans
Cable TV and INTERNET service 
Kitchen is fully equipped:utensils,cookware,microwave,coffee maker,
blender,full size fridge/freezer,stove/oven,iron
Laundry room behind kitchen w washer/dryer
Linens & towels supplied (pls bring your beach towels)

NO SMOKERS or pets
*This condo is our family "home away from home", we would appreciate
renters leaving the kitchen clean (no dirty dishes) and apt. tidy.
Since this is a residential condo community, please conduct 
accordingly with manners and respect towards neighbors.
*Minimum cleaning fee of $100 from security deposit will be deducted
if apartment is not tidy.
 

Activities and Attractions

Enjoy touring, sight seeing the city's centuries old Spanish 
architecture and blue cobblestone streets. The forts, El Morro &
San Cristobal, fortresses built by the Spanish empire, designated
national parks, are within walking distance. Enjoy sunsets at the 
Paseo de la Princesa park and see the entry & wall built to protect
the city & harbor.  
You can enjoy many watersports:sailing,deep sea fishing,parasailing,
diving, snorkeling - check with PR tourism office for packages & 
tours. El Escambron beach is 2 miles from the condo
Casinos a block from condo, also in Condado and horse races at El
Comandante.
Take a day trip to the Arecibo Observatory, the world's largest
radiotelescope or El Yunque, the only tropical rain forest within 
the US. Learn about the Indians that inhabited PR before the Spanish
conquest by visiting the Caguana Indian Park. 
Tour the third largest subterranean river, Rio Camuy, in the Camuy 
Caves Park. You will see fine examples of stalactites & stalagmites.
The Camuy park is open from Wed through Sunday.
Take the ferry ($.50) across to Catano to visit the Bacardi Distellery.
So much to see and do in all of Puerto Rico!  Make sure you stop
at the Tourism office by the bay (small bldg.)for information 
and to get a free rum drink.
 

Vacation Rental Rates

Special Rates: Nov 1 - May 31
               $115/night(5 night min)- $690/week(7 nights)
   Holidays:Christmas season(Dec 19th through Jan 15th);             
            Easter; spring break-$730/week ($125/night-5 night min)
To Reserve: 50% rental rate plus security deposit of $300
           (Security Deposit refunded approx. 25 business days after
            return of keys and check-out inspection)
Full Payment: required 35 days prior to reservation
Cancellations: 25 days prior to arrival-forfeit security deposit
               24 days or less-forfeit SD plus $200

No credit cards or personal checks-only certified checks or money 
orders

No smokers or pets
