Redwood Terrace Luxury Lakefront Villa in Zephyr Cove

Enter into an art gallery entry way with high ceilings and beautiful
photographs of Lake Tahoe lining the wall on the left... Above, an
open loft walkway. The floor is marble, encased in clear redwood. On
the right, the hallway is lined with windows draped in cloth Venetian
blinds. A ceiling fan purrs overhead.
The living room surrounds an enormous marble fireplace, twenty feet
high. Crowning it a Gustav Klimpt type painting blending with it
perfectly.
Off to the left, between the living room and the kitchen, a large
dining room table, seats 12. Windows on the lake surround the seating
area and provide phenomenal views from both the living room and the
dining room. Sink into the high end carpet.
The kitchen is a separate room. Spacious, light, with granite
counters. The center island has a stove top and a separate grill. The
refrigerator is Sub Zero and lined in clear redwood, as are all the
cabinets. In the breakfast nook, a table seats six.
The laundry room is located next to the garage and has a laundry
sink.
There is a half bath accessible from the living room, dining room,
and
kitchen.
Down the wide carpeted stairs, flanked by clear redwood handrails.
You
are now on the lower level of this magnificent home. At the bottom of
the stairs, to the left is a small wine cellar sitting on a granite
counter and opposite a wet bar with refrigerator, sink built in
blender, all in granite counters.
Continue down the hallway to the right and the redwood door leads to
a
large gym, complete with treadmill, LifeCycle machine, personal
climber, a weight workout bench as well as a rowing bench, all of
this
overlooking at the lake. There is a bath with steam shower next door.
Off the workout room is the spa room, a hexagonal space lined with
windows overlooking the lake. The spa is in the middle illuminated by
skylights, all tiled and appointed with great lighting. A slider
gives
you access to the front lawn.
On the other side of the spa room and the workout room is a huge
family room with home theatre( a large projection screen and
projector), pool table, VHS movie library, another TV and DVD, large
marble fireplace, a slider to access the front lawn and the lake and
ample seating .
To complete the entertainment experience and allow great use of this
space, down the hallway, as you descend the stairs, is a bedroom
suite
with several bunk beds( double on the bottom and a twin on top), a
rollaway bed, granite computer desk and computer, printer_fax_copier
machine, as well as access to the front lawn. This bedroom suite
sleeps nine (9) including the rollaway bed.

The lower level of the home with access to the front lawn and the
lake
enables guests to have the optimum amount of privacy. The front lawn
is huge, leading to an inlaid stone walkway, descending to a large
square deck, ringed by large glass a panel which overlooks the
private
beach and cove. The glass is high enough to shelter guests from the
wind. The cove is sandy and protected by a large jetty constructed of
huge granite boulders. The jetty basically allows safe swimming and
shelters the cove and beach from the rough waters of the lake on a
windy day.
It is the most ideal place on Lake Tahoe, with a sweeping front lawn,
privacy and panoramic views of Lake Tahoe from South Shore to
Incline.

The upper level of the home, usually reserved for adults is just as
spectacular. From the living area and entryway, up the wide
staircase,
also encased in clear redwood, across the overhead bridge, the guests
access the master suite as well as two other bedrooms, all with
private baths.

The master suite overlooks the lake with access to a small deck,
perfect for observing Tahoe's spectacular sunsets. It has a
magnificent bronze and glass table and a huge sectional facing the
king bed. A TV, VCR, DVD and ceiling fan complete the ultimate
comfort. The walk-in closet offers ample space.

The master bath is all marble from top to bottom, with jetted tub, 2
sinks, and a huge steam shower with bench. A bidet adds to the
continental flair of the home.

Continuing up a few stairs, there are two bedroom suites. To the
right
a bedroom with a lime green, country French theme. A four poster bed,
an armoire and an elk horn table. A private bath makes this room into
its own suite. There is a TV in the armoire and the windows overlook
the lake. To the left is the fourth bedroom suite with private bath,
two queen beds and a walk in closet.

This magnificent home is so much more than just another spectacular
Tahoe lakefront home. It is an experience of comfort, elegance, and
