The cabin is 6400 square feet with 8 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. At one point in time, a bed and breakfast was opperated out of the property.   Six of the bedrooms have a bathroom attached to the bedroom.

The Master bedroom has a walk-in snail shower.  The Kitchen has been newly remodeled with granite counter tops,  Australian Cypress wood flooring.

The cabin is close to town for shopping needs but is nestled in the trees on 3.7 acres and is bounded on the west by beautiful open forest land.

There is also a barn on the property with three stables, a coral, and an arena. You can bring your horses and keep them in the barn, stable, and arena.   Horses are presently on the grounds.

Snow skiing, horseback riding, fishing, fly fishing, hiking, golfing, kayaking and quad riding are all nearby.

Christmas 2010

We had been searching some time to find a cabin large enough to take the entire family for a week at Christmas. This cabin certainly had enough living space as well as bedrooms and separate bathrooms. It was for sure one of the best Christmas' we have had since the kids were toddlers!

There were a few things that could have improved the cabin drastically. With a little TLC it would be perfect. Simple things...light bulbs in all the lights, switch plate covers in place, sheets that match, fireplaces that work, ice maker that works, enough dishes in the kitchen for 17 people not 6. A few yard sales to add some decor would make this place awesome!

I do have a slight problem with it being the responsibility of the renter to ensure the cabin is left clean for the next renter. I know when we left the cabin it was very clean however, I am not sure I feel confident the renter before cleaned toilets, sinks, floors, bedding, etc. I truly feel cleaning should be the responsibility of the management to guarantee everything is done properly.

Again, we would certainly rent again....just some thoughts for improvement.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, sight seeing
