The Mother Ocean, or Ke Moana Makuahine (in Hawaiian language) (tm), is
a 5-Star, private celebrity-style grand estate on the Island 
of Molokai with 2-acres of lawn-covered, palm tree-laden park grounds, 
a private sandy beach and magnificent views from its shoreline of 
Lanai and ocean beyond.  It is comprised of a modern (main building built 
in 2003) plantation style estate that is "Old Hawaii" comfort at its best.
The Mother Ocean was constructed to resemble a Hawaiian royal summer home.
For those familiar, The Mother Ocean resembles the historical Allerton Estate
home and grounds near Poipu Beach on the Island of Kauai.  The Mother Ocean
operates as a bed and breakfast facility for the exclusive use of the renting
party, and is supervised by pleasant and helpful professional caretaker staff
resident on the estate property.

The Mother Ocean offers up-close panoramic nature views of 
breaching humpback whales in the Kalohi Channel in the winter months 
(Dec - Apr), and Hawaii's longest fringing coral reef (30mi.) is 
awaiting snorkelers and divers to explore 1/8 mi. from our beach.  
This is a spectacular estate residence that will not disappoint.

Located along the highway within a convenient 4.5 mile distance east 
of Kaunakakai on the beach in Kawela, this beautiful, secure and 
secluded estate is spacious and fully furnished with all of the modern 
comforts and amenities, such as a rock-decked swimming pool with an 
adjustable "lap pool" jetstream and tropical waterfall, central air 
conditioning, satellite HD plasma screen televisions, Tivo recorder 
and DVD/CD home theater sound system, Lenovo desktop computer, 
printer and high-speed broadband computer Internet access for 
guests, gourmet kitchen, premium quality traditional plantation home-
style furnishings, and our pleasant and helpful full-time caretaker 
residing in a separate cottage on the estate.

    covered lanai porches.

    personal privacy.

Vacation Rental Rates

The Mother Ocean is available for $450 per night with a 4-night minimum,
plus 11.42% Hawaii state tax.  A 50% nonrefundable deposit plus state tax
is due upon making a reservation.  The balance of rental fee plus state tax
and a non-refundable $200 cleaning fee is due 30 days prior to scheduled 
arrival.  Reservations, once made, cannot be cancelled; however, the owners
may allow substitutions of rental dates, at their sole discretion.  Discounts
on rentals may be available to guests for continuous stays of 3-weeks and longer,

We respectfully request an absolute maximum of no more than 6 guests per night
(a child counts as a guest).  The Mother Ocean is situated in a quiet residential
neighborhood.  Befitting its locale, The Mother Ocean is rented for the private
vacation enjoyment of its guests, and is not available for corporate events, weddings,
receptions, parties, or large gatherings. No pets.
