Serenity at its best! This charming direct lake front home on the public side of Lake Anna is the one to visit. Relax on almost 2 acres of woods in the small and quiet sub-division of Childs Cove. The 250' waterfront shore line is just waiting for fun and memories to happen. This home has 2 boat slips**, a jet-ski lift, large sun deck/dock and beach area to wade your feet in the water. It is close to the State Park, a marina and the only waterfront restaurant on the lake. The cove is deep water and quiet, perfect for that guest who likes to throw a fishing line. It is located in an enforced "No Wake" cove which makes it great for swimming and water fun, but just past the bouyes you are out in open water on the main section of the lake to catch some speed. A place for families to make memories at.

The interior of the home boasts 3 well appointed bedrooms in which 2 have direct waterfront views and king size beds. Wonderful water views from the front 2 bedrooms. While you lay in bed and look out the expansive glass windows feel like you are part of the lake. There are 2 full baths. The loft is a great kid's zone for sleeping and entertaining. You will find up there a full and twin bed as well as a play station 2. The comfy living room also has a direct water view of the lake with a gracious deck that is accessed from the living room or either waterfront bedroom. The water view galley kitchen and dining area is well stocked for entertaining. Brand new stainless steel dish washer. New furniture through out most of the home.Televisons and DVD or VCR in each bedroom as well as the loft and living room. Satellite in the 3 bedrooms and living room. Really a place that offers that "Home Away From Home" feeling. All that this lovely get away is missing is you and your family!

**Note: 1 uncovered boat slip on dock and jet ski lift is available to guests and there is also a place for boat tie up on the dock. Beach area from shore is 2-3 feet deep and is entered by levels of long steps from decking - A great area for kids to play and swim. Water at docks edge is about 10' deep. Great area to fish off the dock as well. (We don't provide fishing poles, life jackets or water craft to guests)We suggest water shoes for little ones. There is a slide on dock, outside shower and beach toys to use. Small fire pit looking out to lake to toast marsh mellows as well as weber gas grill for outside meals. Deck on dock has large picnic table, slide which goes into water, outside shower and wonderful views of the main lake. Great to star gaze at night from. There are many levels of decking with lots of patio furniture, picnic tables and benches to relax and entertain on. The is also a hammock on site, tiki torches and lighting to the dock. If you are quiet enough you might see our local beaver taking a swim in the cove. Heron and birds also a common site. A wonderful quiet place to take in all the beauty Lake Anna has to offer. Truly a home to make memories with the family.

Lake Anna is the second largest lake located entirely in Virginia. It encompasses 250 miles of shoreline and 13,000 acres of water. The lake is 17 miles long and surrounded by farms and forest.

Lake Anna has 2 sections, the main or public lake and the private side. The public section consists of 9,600 acres and where you will find marinas, restaurants and commercial business. The private side is divided by 3 rock dykes and consists of 3,400 acres and there is no public access unless you own property on that section.

That means there are no public boat ramps or marinas, only homes adorn the shoreline.

There is boating, jet-skiing, fishing and water activities on Lake Anna, but there are many other activities to enjoy while visiting this area and they include: Lake Anna State Park, Wineries (Lake Anna Winery & Cooper Winery), Kings Dominion Theme Park, Fredericksburg & Spotsylvania National Military Park, Bluemont Concert, Monticello (Thomas Jefferson's Home), Montpelier (James & Dolly Madison's Home), battlefields, places to shop. We are nearby Fredericksburg, Culpeper and Charlottesville.

January - March 2010 $1390.00 weekly plus 5% tax, cleaning and
security deposit.

2010 Mid Season:

Weekend - $280.00 per night with 3 night minimum (Except Holidays)

Memorial Day 2010: Friday to Monday $1200.00 plus $125.00 cleaning, plus 5% tax and $500.00 security deposit. Note: We do a flat fee with adjusted check in and check out times. Early check in Fri 12:00 p.m. - Late Check out Mon 4:00 p.m. -*Available* (May 28- May 31)

Note: Please add:$500.00 Security Deposit (which is fully refundable within (30) days of departure after inspection of home and all lease provisions have been met), $125.00 cleaning fee which includes linens, towels and prepared beds & (5%) Spotsylvania lodging tax.
