Vacation Rental Description

This is one of the most peaceful locations in Canmore - within 
walking distance of downtown, yet Mother Nature is your 
neighbour and hiking/walking trails are at your doorstep. Easy 
destinations include lakes, waterfalls, streams and rivers.

Our home is located in a quiet neighborhood and has beautiful 
mountain views from every window. Summer is the perfect time 
to enjoy our large (1300+ sq. ft.) wrap-around deck.  
A 10+ minute walk, on a lovely forested trail will take you to main 
street Canmore where you'll find many interesting shops and 
excellent restaurants.
We are a 10 minute drive from the Banff National Park gates and 
20 minutes will take you to the Banff town site (more great 
shopping and dining).
There are 5 golf courses within 20 minutes drive of our home.
A 5 minute walk from the house will take you to Quarry Lake, the 
local swimming/beach area, and 10 minutes walk/ride will take 
you to the Canmore Nordic Centre trails for great mountain 
biking and hiking in summer and cross country skiing in winter.

Our home has three levels:
    On the upper level there is a large master bedroom (queen 
size bed) with a beautiful 5 piece ensuite bathroom (walk-in 
shower, large jacuzzi tub and double sinks), a fireplace and a 
Juliette deck.
There are two more bedrooms (queen size bed in each) and an 
additional 4 piece bathroom.
The loft is also on this level, there 
is a double futon and the computer station with high speed wireless
internet is located here.
    The front entry is located on the main level. There are also two 
sitting areas on this floor. They are separated by a beautiful 
two-sided rundle stone fireplace. The larger sitting area has 17.5 
foot ceilings, a wall of windows and access to the wrap-around 
deck. The second sitting area has the entertainment centre (TV, 
DVD, VCR, Stereo and CD player). 
The fully equipped kitchen (2 refrigerators) and dining areas are also on this level.
There is access to the deck through the dining area. The dining area will 
comfortably seat 12 people.
The wrap-around deck has a gas BBQ/Grill two tables and a total of 12 chairs. 
There is also another bedroom (queen size bed) with access to the deck  and an additional 
3 piece bathroom (walk-in shower) located here.
Finally there is a laundry room with washer and dryer on this level.
     The lower level has a large bed/sitting room. There is a queen 
size bed, a double futon, the second TV and VCR.

Master Bedroom has a beautiful ensuite, fireplace and a juliette balcony.

Fully equipped Kitchen: a large refrigerator with ice maker and freezer, 
medium refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher (new), convection range/oven (new), range 
top, microwave (new), toaster oven, coffee maker, electric kettle, 
blender, popcorn maker, pots & pans, bakeware, matching 
dishes, glasses and cutlery.
The dining area seats 12 comfortably.

2 TVs 27" (cablevision), 2 VCRs, 1 DVD player, 1 radio, 1 CD 
player and 5 alarm clocks.
 
We provide all bed and bathroom linens as well as a few basic 
items for your use.

House keeping and/or catering can be arranged for a fee.

Books, Games, Puzzles and Videos

Children of all ages are welcome. High chair and playpen/portable baby bed are available.

This is a pet free, non-smoking home.

Activities and Attractions

Canmore is paradise for all your summer activities including , 
golfing, hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, canoeing, kayaking, 
river rafting, horseback riding, rock climbing, caving and bird 
watching, you can hire guides for any of these activities if you 
wish.
We have 6 excellent golf courses within a 30 minute drive of our 
home. Stewart Creek Golf & Country Club, Canmore Golf & 
Curling Club, Silvertip Golf Course, Banff Springs Golf Club, 
Brewster's Kananiskis Ranch Golf Resort and Kananaskis 
Country Golf Course.
Winter activities include alpine skiing, cross country skiing, 
snowshoeing, ice climbing and dog sledding.
We are situated within one hours drive of 5 major alpine ski 
resorts: Sunshine Village(35 minutes), Lake Louise Ski 
Resort(55 minutes), Nakiska, home of the 1988 Winter 
Olympics(45 minutes), Banff Mount Norquay Ski Area (25 
minutes) and Fortress Ski Area (60 minutes).
We are a 5 minute drive from the Canmore Nordic Centre.

This is an exceptional location for photographers and artists.

There are many opportunities for shopping, fine dining, art and 
cultural events, both in Canmore and Banff.

Vacation Rental Rates

Rental rates from $4900.00 CAD to $6300.00 CAD per week. Minimum 7 night stay required. 

Rates are based on length of stay, number of guests and time of year.
25% of the Rent is required to complete all bookings.
Full amount + a $850.00 refundable security/damage deposit due 60 days prior to arrival.

Cancellation Policy - payments (less 20%) are refunded if the home is re-rented.

Renter will be required to sign a standard landlord tenant lease agreement.

Please Note:
Due to severe allergies in our family our home is strictly non smoking and we can not 
allow guests to bring any pets.

Our home is for the use of registered guests only, no larger gatherings can be held here.

We do not have parking for larger vehicles such as motor homes or campers and require 
all guests vehicles be parked on our driveway.

Check in after 4:00 PM. Check out before 10:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible 
upon request.
