Quinta Recreo was established in 1945, in an old XVII century 
tannery, which was converted and became home to artists and travelers 
from all over the world. 
Located within San Miguel's historic center, in the oldest and most 
prestigious neighbourhood, "El Chorro" and its lovely parks and 
fountains, in a quiet atmosphere, close to all of the historical 
sights.
We offer  an alternative to the usual Bed and Breakfast: "Casitas" 
surrounded by lush gardens, each with outdoor patio and kichenette, 
which allowe you to shop for local delicacies and enjoy your meals in 
the comfort of your own accomodation.
At Quinta Recreo, we can accomodate you in 8 different casitas, set 
in a beautiful garden, each with it's own private patio. 
1. Casita Sueño
This Casita has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, nice 
living/dining area with fireplace,galley kitchen. 
It is located on the second floor with some steps
going up, and has a great rooftopterrace with
breathtaking view of the Paroquia. 
2. Casita Fiesta
This Casita has two bedrooms,(second bedroom can be
a studio/office with single bed)one well
proportioned bathroom. It comes with a nice size
kitchen, living/diningroom and one of the loveliest 
patio in town. It also has two fireplaces and 
beautiful canterra features. A real colonia gem!IN
THIS CASITA WE ALLOWE WELL BEHAVED PETS AND
CHILDREN. 
3. Casita Siesta
One bedroom, one bathroom Casita, the bedroom
is on split level, offering tranquil views of the
garden. The living room opens into a nice patio
full of flowers. A perfect place for writing,
painting, or just to enjoy your deserved siestas.
4. Casita Feliz
This one level, one bedroom, one bathroom Casita is
our happiest one, full with joyful Mexican colours.
It comes with it's own flowered patio, filled with
sunshine, but also, has an ancient pecan tree which
provides enough shade to sit under it with a good 
book and enjoy the singing of the birds. If you
stay at this Casita, you can't stop smiling!
5. Casita Jazmin
This Casita offers one bedroom, one batroom
accomodation with separate his/hers walk in
closets. The kitchen has a dining area with lovely
views over the garden. The patio is unique with
it's own bitter orange tree. If you stay at this
Casita you will be pampered by the scents of Jazmin
and Orange blossoms.
6. Casita Azar
This Casita is on two levels, downstairs there is a
bedroom with bathroom and walk in closet, upstaris
is the living room and kitchen. It comes with a nice
terrace with magnificient views. You can invite your
guests over to enjoy the famous San Miguel sunsets
from here, they will envy you. What a place! 
7. Casita Fuente
This one level, open concept Casita with its own kitchenette and
bathroom is quite something! Has a great fireplace
and two single beds (can make a king, if preffered)
and you have your own antique canterra fountain in
front of it.
8. Casita Vista
This one bedroom, one bathroom Casita has nice 
proportions and a good size walk in closet. It is
located on the second floor and has bird's eye view
over the whole garden plus San Miguel! If you like to
watch butterflies and birds from your own livingroom,
this is the right place for you!
Please note, all of our casitas are non smoking!
Price includes: all taxes,utilities,housekeeping and linens.
 

Vacation Rental Rates

Rates are calculated on weekly basis. For nightly rates (min. 3 nights) please consult our website.
Year 2008: 
High season: December 1-April 30: $ 399.00/week single occupancy or $ 499.00/week double occupancy
Shoulder season 1: May 1-June 30: $ 350.00/week single occupancy or $450.00/week double occupancy
Monthly rate: $ 900.00/single occupancy or $ 990.00/double occupancy-in 1bedroom casitas
Shoulder season 2: July 1-November 30: $ 370.00/week single occupancy or $ 470.00/week double 
occupancy
Monthly rate: $ 1,050.00/single occupancy or $ 1,200.00/double occupancy.-in 1 bedroom casitas
For high season, for stays longer than 7 nights and for monthly rentals in the other seasons, final 
cleaning fee of US$ 
50.00 applies
For high season, reservation made 3 months or more in advance, total fee is due 45 days prior to 
arrival.
Reservations made as of 1/January/2008 new check in and out rules apply:
Check in from Monday to Saturday. Sorry no check in on Sundays!!!
Check in time: 2:00-6:00 p.m.*
Check out time: 11:30 a.m.
*Later check in can be arranged to prior notice and we'll ask you to call us at the provided phone 
numbers on your 
reservation when you arrived to San Miguel, in order to let you in.
After 10:00 P.M. arrivals, there is a surcharge of US$ 30.00
Price includes taxes, all utilities,housekeeping once a week and linens.
