Welcome to Hearthside! This cozy cottage is the perfect mountain hideaway. It is located on a quiet street in the Boulder Bay area of Big Bear Lake, about 4 blocks from the lake and less than a mile to the Village. (If you go to Mapquest, the nearest cross-streets are Chipmunk Lane and Peak Lane in zip code 92315.)
DECK & HOT TUB
The deck has a wide, unobstructed view of the mountains and trees, where you can grill on the gas barbecue or soak in the private hot tub under the stars.
THE HOUSE
The house has been furnished to enhance your peaceful retreat from the city. It tastefully decorated without your typical cabin clutter, and most people say that it has a rustic, romantic feel. From the cozy ultrasuede couches, you can warm up to a crackling fire in the real brick hearth. Or curl up with some hot chocolate and enjoy the view of the trees from the large picture windows.
The house is perfect for 1-2 couples or a small family. Call to check, but smaller dogs are usually fine. This is a non-smoking house.
BEDS & BATH
Each of the two bedrooms has a view of the mountains and trees that can be enjoyed from a comfortable queen bed. 
KITCHEN & BAR
The layout of the kitchen and bar encourage entertainment at the house. The kitchen has all of the basics if you decide to stay in cook.

The house has clean bed linens and towels, soap and shampoo for the shower. The house also has a TV (basic cable), a DVD/CD player with iPod dock adaptor, and a gas barbeque with grilling tools.
The kitchen has all of the basics: microwave, coffee maker, toaster, gas stove/oven, dishwasher, cooking utensils, pots and pans, dishes, and silverware.
If you need to make calls, please plan to bring your mobile phone, as this house does not have a land-line phone.
