Aloha from The Sunset Beach House.

Perfect for 2 to 8 people, located on the sand at Sunset Beach, on the main island of Oahu, this exotic, Polynesian-style house is one of the best values for a relaxing, exciting vacation in one of the most beautiful, natural settings the islands have to offer.

The beach in front of my house is gorgeous and is hardly used as there is no public access to it close to my home. The water is crystal clear and the snorkeling is great!

The home has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and is perfect for parties of up to 8 people with comfort and ease. There is a Jacuzzi on the deck overlooking the beach and my own private volleyball/badminton court is right along side the house, as you can see in the aerial photo of my home.

The house is only a 7-8 minute drive from the historic whaling town of Haleiwa, which is the main town on the North Shore of Oahu. It has lots of restaurants, shopping, a marina (in case you would like to go deep sea fishing), and live entertainment is abundant in many of the restaurants and bars. The Turtle Bay Hilton is about 5 miles away from the house in the other direction, and they have 2 golf courses, horseback riding, and a disco.

There is a Foodland supermarket about 1/2 mile from the house.

All the island activities, from hang gliding to scuba diving, and polo matches to jet skis are all just minutes away from my house.

We are also proud members of the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau.

The Water is crystal clear and the snorkeling is great. SCUBA diving is a major attraction on the North Shore with both boat and shore dives available. Waimea Falls is only a mile away, and hiking at Waimea Valley is an unforgettable experience.

There are 4 bedrooms, and sleeps a maximum of 8 people.

Each bedroom is like a master bedroom.

The master king bedroom upstairs looks out to the beach and ocean.

The downstairs queen master bedroom looks out to the volleyball court and beach and ocean.

Both of the other bedrooms feature views of the lush greenery and mountains behind the home. The jungle like foliage comes down from the mountains and surrounds the home creating a unique feeling of privacy while looking out at the spectacular vistas of Sunset Beach, which is one of the most famous and romantic beaches on Oahu, and certainly in all of Hawaii. Both bedrooms have 2 twin beds which can be changed to kings upon your request.

The house is my own personal residence and is completely furnished in rattan and antiques. You'll see pictures on the walls of stars like Susanne Somers and David Carradine who have stayed and relaxed here.

You won't have to bring anything except your Swimsuit and a Smile to Have a Great Time!

For your viewing pleasure the living room has a 46” Flatscreen HDTV featuring all the movie channels with stereo DVD, and there are Flatscreen TV/DVDs in all the bedrooms.

The home also has digital security and an electronic safe for your valuables. 

Also, for all you gourmet chefs, the kitchen has a gas range, and there are 2 barbeques, one in the ground (Hawaiian style) and a George Foreman Grill to cooksteaks and seafood on.

In addition to the 3 inside baths there is a hot and cold 2 headed shower at the bottom of the deck which is hidden by foliage, and is everybody's favorite place to shower and refresh after coming off the beach or after a long soak in the spa. 

The kitchen is custom crafted in local island Koa hardwood & has every appliance you can think of, and of course there is a Telephone, High speed DSL Wireless Internet (Wifi), Free Long Distance, iron, and all the other items you would find in your own home.

Well . . . the "Sunset House" on "Sunset Beach" lived up to its name, by playing audience
to several spectacular sunsets! This has by far been our best trip to the islands; and it
sure beats those 5-star hotels. The Sunset House, and all of the things it offered, really
made this a very special vacation. Although we are saddened to leave this tropical
paradise; we know we will see the Sunset House next year, with an entirely different set
of sunsets and good times.

. . . Great weather, perfect waves, whales, the green spark at sunset. Warm ground and
cool waters everyday. Four or five extra pounds, all those books we've been trying to
read for months, Primo Beer . . . I'm sure we have a life back on the mainland; work
children, etc., and if we don't leave now, we may not be able to make the transition back
to real life.

"Just one More Day"
Michel,
We had a tremendous time here in Sunset Beach. It is truly the only paradise I have
actually experienced. Amy and I had a great wedding and honeymoon on the Island. This
place is really beautiful! Your house was great. (Great loft for a honeymoon). It is too bad
we could only spend a week. Next time it will definitely be longer. When we are back at
our house on the Oconee River in Athens, Georgia, we will be thinking of this place
often. Until next time!

The Sunset Beach House has been our home for almost a month and we all could stay
longer. Scott and I came by ourselves for the first two weeks and then our 5 children and
2 friends flew over to join us for the remainder of our stay. The sunsets are beautiful and
we got to see moon rays during the a.m. hours of the full moon. We've seen sea turtles
and lots and lots of tropical fish. We loved the outdoor shower, especially during an
afternoon rain. The many birds have been a true delight and our children coveted the
feeding job. Scott and I enjoyed the solitude and the sparsely populated beach; having
such privacy spoiled us.

Our third stay at Sunset Beach House. When one finds their sacred place why go
anywhere else?! Weather turned cool after we got here and the water was wonderful. In

Well, you certainly didn't exaggerate the house and the beach behind it. We had a truly
wonderful time . . . and for all others who read this go to Jamesons in Haleiwa for dinner;
ask for Gerald's table and tell him we recommended him. Be sure to order the
Opakapaka, Panko style with macadamia nuts (AWESOME) and Gerald will treat you extra
good. We have already started our dream fund so we can come back and buy our next
home, here on Sunset Beach.
