Beautiful Stone-Built Villa with pool and garden in Island of Crete

Our beautiful stone built villa "Anagnostis" is situated in
the village of Deliana,15 minutes by car away from the most
beautiful beaches of the island, of western Crete and 30 minutes
from the town of Chania,
known as the most beautiful town of Greece. The villa is a Neo-
Classical house, built in 1886 and beautifully renovated in
2006-7. This house has been in the hands of the "Anagnostis family"
for four generations. The family built the house with the finest
materials of that period and the descendants have kept up this
tradition and restored it carefully so as to preserve its
characteristic nineteenth-century architecture. Today the
house combines different styles, personal treasures, inherited pieces
and hand-medowns from friends.
The house offers family accommodation for 4-9 persons in 5
bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped. The central
and welcoming diningroom was ever since the family room of the house
and has a loveworn feel that reflects its focus on family life. The
house is filled with evidence of the familys adventure spirit and
love of their beautiful island and its history. Family photographs
and handmade curtains cover the surface in the 4m high livingroom.
In the bedrooms are handspun fabrics used for the curtains. From the
separate ground floor apartment with its two bedrooms and bathroom
you can directly step out into the garden with pool area.
A vast chestnut tree shades the front of the terrace overlooking the
peaceful valley.
The house offers 1500m2 of wonderful surroundings, a from
curious eyes protected garden, its beautiful pool area with 50m2
pool,plenty of trees, such as lemon, orange, nuts, kivis,
jasmine, which create shade during the warm summer months. Days are
spent by the pool or visiting one of the unspoiled white sandy
beaches, potteries,
winerys or just enjoy nature and try one of the freshiest and
healthiest cuisine in Greece. Any special requests such as a midnight
massage or a romantic dinner in your house can be easily arranged.
The house is ideal for familys or a group of friends seeking
relaxation, looking for comfort, privacy and enjoying the high value
of a private home.

Set in one of the most popular holiday destinations, in Europe,
Crete offers kilometers of golden sandy beaches, historical places
and monuments, unique landscape (high mountains, valley, gorges),

Only a 1/2 hour drive away, to the west, you will find the ancient
town of Falassarna, internationally known for the amazing,
unspoiled, wide, rose-coloured beach of the whole island. Here you
will experience one of the most beautiful sunsets.
Chania with its picturesque harbour promenade, with great variety of
restaurants, exclusive and traditional, bars, some of them with live
music and plenty of night clubs, open air cinemas with films in
English, shops and all kind of entertainment places, cultural
events, happening during the summer like concerts and sport events-
you can find everything, just ask for it.
