Vacation Rental Description

Summer fun at it's best in Arrowhead Lake...  This home is private but only a 3/4 mile walk,  
bike, or drive to the nearest beach.  In most cases, on the last day of your stay, instead of  
rushing out and into the car, you can sleep in and check out any time you like.  Home features four  
private bedrooms, office set up as 5th bedroom features Queen bed, and the large loft is set up as a  
6th bedroom with Full size bed and overlooking the main living area and fireplace.  Living room  
sleeps two in the full size sofabed and one in the twin size day bed.  The home has two full baths,  
one with a jacuzzi/whirlpool bathtub. (There is no hot tub on the premises at this time...)  Living  
room has beautiful cathedral ceiling with exposed beams and a brick fireplace for warm winter fires  
(bring your own firewood--available for purchase at local stores.)  Charcoal and gas grills outside  
on the large wrap-around deck with sliders to kitchen.  Deer approach the house daily as the home  
adjoins forested area, and woodpeckers and turkeys are frequent visitors.  Home has had many recent  
updates including-- New in 2008:  Carpeting in living room, microwave... New in 2007:  Refrigerator,  
coffeemaker, gas grill, vinyl flooring in kitchen, carpeting lower level bedrooms, and tile floor in  
main bathroom...  New in 2006:  Sleeper sofa in living room, three new mattresses, washing machine,  
toaster, and blender... Home also has CD/cassette/radio, TV, VCR, DVD player as well as a collection  
of 50+ videos for your enjoyment.  Home features full size washer and dryer, full size refrigerator,  
and full size stove.  Sleeps 15 comfortably.  Bed sizes are: one Queen bed, two Full beds, one Full  
sleeper sofa, 7 Twin beds, and one fold out foam couch.  Linens provided upon request with 7 days  
notice ($3 per bed laundering fee.)  Available pack 'n play includes playpen with bassinet and  
changing table attachments and storage pockets; baby seat and high chair available as well; let us  
know in advance if you will need baby items in the home.  Bring your own sheets, towels, toiletries,  
charcoal, firewood, etc.  Don't forget to bring or buy sleds in winter as the sledding hill is right  
around the corner, or take a shortcut through the woods adjoining the house.  Also, for a small fee  
you can leave the shopping to us and we will set up the home up for Valentine's Day, an Anniversary,  
Birthday (including helium balloons) or other special occasion...

Vacation Rental Amenities

Wooded location for privacy; last house on dead end road.  Road ends  
at the retired ski slope which is now used as a complimentary  
sledding hill all winter.  Walk the trail or around the block to  
Arrowhead's Clubhouse for activitites for adults and kids year  
round.  Hike to the top of the retired ski slope and enjoy the  
mountain air. If you haven't booked your summer vacation yet,  
Memorial Day Weekend starts the summer season: three outdoor pools  
and four beaches are open and staffed with lifeguards 11am-7pm;  
rowboat and paddle boat rentals, tennis (there are two tennis raquets  
at the house available for your use), volleyball and shuffleboard  
open. Home is approximately a half-mile walk or drive to the beach.  
Eight playgrounds and two basketball courts are open year round.   
Ice skating, ice fishing, and sledding permitted at your own risk.   
Fishing on two large stocked lakes (must have fishing license.)  
Several picnic areas with picnic tables and charcoal grills  
throughout the community. Community is gated and has its own  
security staff.  Mink and Loons can be spotted during early  
morning hours and White-tailed deer and Turkeys are frequently  
encountered while driving the wooded roads.

All of our standard weekend rates include an extra night free (total

Cleaning fee: $75 (plus additional charge if sheets are needed) 
Security Deposit: $300 standard, or $500 with pets, spring  
rentals, or parties under the age of 25 (fully refundable upon  
inspection.) $100 charge for pets not registered in advance. 
There is also a charge of $25 per vehicle for access to the gated  
community; when you arrive you will get gate passes from the  
Arrowhead Lakes Welcome Center to be used for the duration of your  
stay.  In the summer, all renters over the age of six (6) are required to pay for badges as follows  
depending on the length of your stay:  Daily Badges are $7.50 per person; Weekly Badges are $25.00  
per person; One Month Badges are $60.00 per person; Two-Month Badges are $75.00 per person; Three- 
Month Badges are $90.00 per person; see Amenities section below for extensive list of amenities  
available to you.
