Synton House is a turn of the century Victorian home built by  
Rev. Charles Cuthbert Hall. A step back in time, the house is  
furnished with many of the original furnishings. It is a good place  
for a quiet simple vacation without the distractions of modern life. 
 
Located on 4 quiet acres, this home is the setting for Janet  
Gillespies's wonderful book "A Joyful Noise". 
 
There are fireplaces, a sunken bathtub, back stairs, a children's  
playhouse, paths in the woods. 
 
This house is a perfect place for a small group retreat.

Linens are supplied. We ask that tenants begin the laundry before they

beach with great surf. 
Can use own kayak or canoe on the West River.

Vacation Rental Rates

June 28 - July 4, 2008          $2,750       
July 19 - July 25, 2008         $2,750 
August 9 - 15, 2008             $2,750 
August 16 - 22, 2008            $2,750 
August 23 - 29, 2008            $2,750 
 
There is also a security/cleaning/damage deposit required.  
Rentals start on Saturday and end on Friday. 
Please inquire about shorter rentals in June or September 2008.
